It’s the same logic you are using to justify polygamy. And there are lots of muslims who use this same logic to justify female circumcision - just google. The Quran or hadith don’t say "Go forth and marry many women because that will bring you happiness’. It says you can do it if you are able to treat them all equally and in the same breath goes on to say that is very difficult. Just like it says to cut a little if you must. Polygamy too was a cultural practice so your argument is identical.
