IT IS SAD THAT GIRLS are not allowed to do four marriages at a time… 
… It is an efficient tool for men to fulfill their desires by leaving their wives hanging. Many men use this authority in lust rather than the actual purpose of being imposed. I will never have the courage to share my husband unless it was related to disability. Can men really accept ANOTHER GUY with their wives like we do? Men deserve a mental torture and sleepless nights too!

Are you Muslim. If yes then Allah did not allow women to have more than one husband at one time. and Allah allow men to have 4 wives and many slave girls at the same time to fulfill the sexual desire.
This rule is not made by any man but it is from Allah ( the creator of this universe). so you have to accept it happily, if you believe in Allah.

Men were allowed four marriages in Islam in the context when there were more women and lesser men due to wars etc. But then men were asked to do justice between all the wives. This permission of 4 marriages have been applied generally since then. This permission can solve problem in any era whenever there is shortage of men since men usually have higher death toll in wars and other calamities. Men who can to marry 2nd, 3rd, 4th time without any logical and valid reason just want to fulfil their desire for varierty of women and use Islam's permission for this purpose.
Men are allowed multiple wives because there won't be any problem for children to identify their mothers. But if a woman was allowed to marry multiple husbands, the paternal relationship would have been difficult to identify (although its not a problem in modern days thanks to DNA).

Let me correct you that permission was not given to marry 4 wives in Islam but it is better to say that Islam put the max number of wives to be restricted up to 4. Islam put the max limit upto 4 because before there was no restriction and men were allowed to marry n numbers of women. So each man was having hundreds of wives. Remember Prophet Sulaiman AS son of Prophet Dawoud AS.
On the other hand Islam did not put any limit for slave girls, you can have n numbers of slave girls to fulfill your sexual desire.

What you want to say. i did not get you. Let me clear again
1 Islam allow to have sex with salve girls with our mention max numbers of them you should have. During war many girls are captured from the other side and become slaves also. and distributed with Maal e Ganeemat.
2 Before Islam more than 4 wives were normal in Makkah and other area, Islam put max number to be not more than 4.
I think it is clear now.
