this product is over priced for those who use it on a daily basis. but as i said, it does not expire, so if u need it for occasional use, it’s just perfect!

Re: Foundations

Its a US product and I'm tempted to buy but would like some feedback on what people think.
Re: Foundations
n which is right brand for desi skins?
Re: Foundations
Phats, it's a light, smooth finish. It covers but doesn't look cakey.
Re: Foundations
How about using Estee Lauder liquid foundation?

Though if you just need light coverage, I like the Bare Minerals stuff.
Re: Foundations
You choose a foundation by first figuring out what it is you are expecting out of it.
At this age in you life you probably just want minimal coverage that provides a base for makeup.
And for that there isnt any need to use heavy coverage foundations like MAC
It also depends on the climate of where you live.
So the best person to recommend you the foundation to suit your needs is yourself.
And i dont think there is anything wrong with using Drugstore brands like Maybelline to acheive what you want.
Leave the big brands for your late 20s and 30s.
I myself use Napoleon's Minimal Coverage because it doesnt clog pores, a tiny bit gives greater coverage and i can wear it for 10 hours straight and it lasts for that long.
In ten years probably i'll change to something more hydrating
And dont forget to use a primer. :)
Re: Foundations
^ Adra, what primer do you use?
Re: Foundations
Napoleon's Auto Pilot
which one do you use?
Re: Foundations
What does primer do? Moisturize?
I don't use foundation on a regular basis, but I want something that gives full coverage for when I do use it. I like the matte look (not cakey, but smooth).
Re: Foundations
Exactly what is your def of full coverage??
Full is for people with blemishes and uneven skintone.
Im sure at your age you dont have these problems.
Primer preps the skin for a smooth uneven coverage for the foundation and provides a great base plus stops the makeup form literally washing off in humid weather not to mention it also provides a fair coverage of hydration.
Like Napoleon says, Not to Prime is a Crime ![]()

full coverage like MAC’s Studio Tech.

I don't use one. Never have. It really makes a difference?
Re: Foundations
Prescriptives is very good. Have been using it for a number of years now. Great shades of asian skins.
Can I get Napoleon in the UK?

Yes it does, think of it as painting a wall with a primer before the paint.

Dont think you can, they launched it in US last year.
