The left one is a light layer and the in the right one, I built up a few layers and am also wearing a lot of powder. Overall it does make my poc marks much less visible but whether they are visible in photos depends on the lighting/flash etc:
Another one wearing a light layer:
Thanks lovelies... ganxta you know I'm going to say it's all the RHO :p
My skin alhumdulillah is now clear* but without make-up my natural colouring I feel is a bit pasty and I have areas of redness. The glow is all the makeup! I wear foundation, powder, MSF natural in dark for smoothing and a bit of glow, bronzer and then blush on top if I'm going to wear it.
*Milly didn't believe how bad my acne was until I showed her a pic from a long ago of all my pigmentation marks.
I've been swearing my Tarte's Amazonian Clay Full Coverage foundation. It's the only one that makes my skin look flawless and still seems like it's glowing.
Thanks apple… I haven’t done that kind of liner in ages… always short of time
I’m just a cheater :p.. the real reason is because I can’t pack on product easily, especially colour. I always feel I look clownish even though I love how vibrant, different coloured blush looks on others. So this just the result of me very gently applying product.
When I first seened (and chuched) Stoppits I didnt even know she was wearing make ups! And yeh...I didn't believe her about her acne scars. I never believe Stoppits, unless she proves it with pitchas. I have LOTS of Stoppits pitchas. ;)
Anyone can buy it. Here is the Pro Store list (might need updating).
If you can’t get to one, I think you can buy it over the phone. I believe Pseudonymous did this.
It is a great product but like I said previously, it takes a bit of work to figure out how best to use it for you. You definitely need to make sure the skin is well moisturised (I use rosehip oil before my spf moisturiser). I personally find the application too thick with fingers or a sponge (I tried a sponge when I first got it). I finally settled on a flat synthetic foundation brush as the product glides on and off it - I can either apply a light layer or keep going over areas to build up coverage. But start with the cheapest/easiest option for you and see if it works.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Will try and give most of them a try :D
Stoppit, your skin looks brilliant.. would never have guessed you'd had any past issues with it.. Studio Fix makes my eyes water (I have no idea why) but I'm ok with other MAC products.. Mineralize, Studio Scuplt, Face + Body and the Careblend pressed powder..
Mad Hatter, I remember your thread from the other day.. MUFE HD is one of those products I've been meaning to try for agesss but just not gotten round to, just cos it's right the other side of London from me and I haven't a clue which shade I'd be so I could just order over the phone or online..
It’s slightly different in each photo but the basics are the same.
For brushes I use:
MAC 187
A powder brush (not too firm)
A small cheek brush
I first apply MAC MSF Natural in Dark using the 187. I don’t pick up much much product - just gentle wipe my brush in the center of the pan once or twice. I use circular motions to buff it on starting from the apples of my cheeks all the way towards my hairline. If I want some extra definition, I use the small cheek brush to apply extra in the hollows of my cheek (suck cheeks in and apply in the hollow) and near the hairline.
I then use the powder brush and pick up a little bronzer and gently apply it over the same area.
Then with the powder brush I will use either Nars Gilda or MAC Peachykeen (or a bit of both) and apply lightly on the apples of my cheeks and blend backwards. In the top right pic above you can see that I applied more peach/pink further back and in the hollow (again used the cheek brush) so the cheeks were more defined. In the lower pic, I used more bronzer and less of Nars Gilda and no Peachykeen.
I will also highlight my cheekbones if it’s an occasion. I just use a large eyeshadow brush and some pearly eyeshadow apply in a line and then gently blend it out with my finger.
