Alisha, mashallah u have flawless skin and so u need minimum coverage..for u even a powder wud work!
MAC does have a tendency to look cakey and very heavy..it also "creases" after a while.. I just don't like the colors =( when a bride insist on me using MAC I always have to mix-in a yellow base into it. I LOVE Bobbi Brown.. it gives the perfect coverage and lasts long too!
Primer helps a lot! If u have oily skin, Benefit has a product called Dr. Feel Good it keeps the skin matte..
For a perfect foundation application, exfoliate u're skin with a good quality scrub to remove all the dead-skin and wash-off with cold water (this seals and shrinks u're pores making them less visible)
Apply a heavy moisturiser, even onto u're eyelids and leave it on for 5 min. Wipe off with a alcohol-free toner. Now apply u're foundation whether cream, stick or mousse, always apply in downwards and outward strokes! Blend blend blend and blend! Follow-up with either loose powder or pressed powder!
Gina I dont know where ur thread is about skin care, but I think i can ask here without opening a new thread.
I am going to pakistan in one week as we have winters here, my facial skin is great at the moment and not tanned, so what kind of protection should I get for the hot sun there?
Saadia, a really high factor sunblock.. I love Sun Sense spf 50+ sunblock! Make sure u take along a good cleanser.. I usually take along a couple of Evian water mist sprays..they're great for summers in Pakistan.

I have already spend so much money on cosmetic / bags/ gifts that I am almost broke even before I get there, hope this is not so expensive. LOL
^ LOL it's the most important product Saadia :) I even wear it at home..!
I bet it is, only I cannot seem to find it in Google here in Austria and donot have time to order over the internet, maybe I should try the duty free in Dubai when in transit there? Are dutyfree shops in general cheaper than the 'normal shops?
You have mentioned that you like Lancome's photogenic foundation. What shade of this foundation would be suitable for desi skin tone? Like for light wheatish skin tone?
