I don't know how long you've been searching around but don't make the mistake of going to shah nawaz. You'll regret it for a longgggggggg time. Check out the other threads on the forums. He's really rude, overcharges and will do everything he can to rip you off some way or another. When you goto him to get your pictures enlarged, he'll charge insane amount because he knows that you can't goto anyone else now. He's absolutely horrible and way overrated. I think you should do just a little bit more research on him before you confirm. Type in his name on google and i'm sure you'll find stuff. Avoid the headaches and problems and stay away from shah nawaz no matter what.
There's more than enough things about him since this past year on these threads. Do your research and change your decision while you can.

His stuff would be good if you wanted to wait 5 months for it. And then do you really wanna risk losing all your photos. 30+ brides photos lost in one year, isn't that a red flag for you? Do you really wanna risk it?
hey yeah i heard that too yaar, but u guys know wat? yar the day i went there for my booking there was this really ill mannered guy there,he was some other client, he was sitting there and singing rudely while me and my mother were sittin in his office too..shahnawaz told him to stop singing coz that was just rude u know and he dint instaed he started singin even more and was acting so stupid. so in the end shahnawaz told him to leave the office i mean some people might mame an issute outta this too and say he's rude and all but what i believe is this tht wat he did was infact the right thing to be done...had i been in his place i would have kicked that loser out rather than asking him to leave..i think considering people rude is just a matter of perspective. and btw i checked with some other studios too they charge for picture enlargements just as much some studios even more than him... :s

rudeness could be over looked...but he has lost whole ablums of ppl wedding pictures...i cant risk that.

seriously guys, be hesitant before you start believing overly glorifying reviews from people who’ve never posted on gupshup before. people in these industries can often use GS to try and boost their business and sway minds… i personally would post once in a given thread that I liked a particular designer, photographer or makeup artist, not come back over and over again to compare that business with another in the SAME thread.
Its amazing how much power this forum has…since the whole Hajra Hayat incident, I havent seen one bride here mention getting a dress from there and just a few people coming forward to share a bad experience with someone like Shahnawaz can ensure that guppies dont go there and also, that these experiences make it to the second or third listing on google. if it wasn’t powerful, you wouldn’t see our poor moderators being threatened with lawsuits over postings

i got married in dec 08 and i had my barat photoshoot with afzl....hes just too good...the pics, the album, service everything is excellent....he makes u feel very comfortable and is sooooo friendly...u feel like a celebrity during the time of ur shoot.
my cousin went to shahnawaz for her wedding....his work is good too but hes very rude and arrogant...

Professionalism is very important in this field, especially since the charges are so high. Moreoever, client and customer service and satisfaction is expected from photographers who want to establish giant names in this field. Someone needs to teach a quick "customer is king" lesson to Shahnawaz and others like him who feel they can get away with anything just because their work is good. They should never underestimate the power of consumers and ignore competition.

even though i was a little put off after i saw this one bad shoot by afzl ,i still went to check out the studio and more picturesby them. left me much more satisfied and now im back to liking him again. booking them for walima :)
any ideas for barat? deevees, athar shahzad, guddu shani or if u know of anyone else (other than shahnwaz ofcourse! ) let me know.

I know the whole story about the guy singing rudely and all of that to make Shahnawaz look like superman came and freed sidzy from the crime that was taking place. Shahnawaz got the threads closed that he wanted to but he can’t take opinion away, alot of people on this website know now how much of a horrible person he is. I am in the process of talking with Dawn and Nawai-waqt to see they can cover a story about him. They’re pretty interested, lets see if it goes through.
PEOPLE WILL FIND THE TRUTH ABOUT YOU SHAHNAWAZ (aka sidzy zarmin and whatever the hell you wanna call yourself), no matter what you do
