Hey btw , I want to dedicate a poem to my days in FCC and the friends I made there, who are still in contact, can i say that small poem here ? I do not want to start a new thread for that :(
^^ Lucid I know its a beautiful poem. But I have not written it. Got it from a friend of mine (FCC friend), as text msg on cell. And I really got teary eyes after reading it coz it refreshed the old golden days of my life in mind. I really miss that time :(
Spent four years at FC College. Things I remember most was sitting in the cricket ground and watching cricket matches. Also, when going back home I'd stop at Gaddafi stadium and watch our team do the net-practice for hours. Got lots of autographs there. Also watched some of the matches at Gaddafi when the tickets were free.
i had my physics practical at FC college. I took very good readings and called the examiner to have a look and he wouldnt believe and said you have cheated some how i was so mad that i dont remember being more angry than that ever in my life.
I was good at physics, specially the light section… reflection, refraction and prisms etc :roman:
FC College has pretty good science labs. Pretty much every thing about FC College is great… the location, the facilities, the buildings, the grounds, etc. etc.
^ i like its structure very much. My dream was to get admission in GC but i missed the entry test coz i got confused about the dates but i think what happens, happens for good. First GC and PU got in a conflict over admissions and marits etc so they postponed their admissions for good 4 months. 2nd I really enjoyed in FC and the freinds i made in FC are TRUELY very very nice ppl. We are still in contact. They all are married, have kids and I meet them whenever i visit Lahore.
btw anyone remember that Garden behind Library, which was specific for Botany students? I saw Kanwal ka phool in that beautiful pond there for the first time in my life. It was really pretty I heard that was a Date point too … actually i heard dates tou library mein bhi hothi theen
Here comes another one, i.e., me. I did my Pre-Medical in 1984 and I still remember my roll number 86176. At that time we had 4 sections of Pre-Eng and 3 sections of Pre-Med. Mine was B-3. I really miss those good old days. A car sticker was very popular then which said
*"FORMANITES ARE GREAT" *. So true. Isn't it?
