Ive seen plenty of pregnanty women wear saris and look so classy and elegant at the same time!
imagine being pregnant and having to go to the bathroom in a sari, not the best idea…
i’d go with anarkali my best friend gave birth not too long ago and she had to attend her brother in laws wedding and wore one of those.
also a few years ago i was in ny and caught a fashion show of designer nirali patel, she made great dance costumes for teams and MATERNITY DESI WEAR

Well, I wore a sari during my 7th month at a wedding and for my anniversary in my 8th but did not have the bathroom problem.
The Nirali designs are awesome, BTW!

I even wore my valima lehnga to a wedding when I was 7 months along and was all comfy with it.

Remember Suzanne Khan, wife of Hrithink Roshan, wearing Saris in weddings of Zayed Khan and Fardeen Khan?
She looked cute and elegant at all events. I think your sister-in-law should go for an anarkali with a proper fitting or a sari.

Please don’t diet or wear too tight clothes to look slimmer. You are pregnant, no one will think you are fat. It is a glorious time when your baby will be enjoying the event alongwith you without crying or irritating you.

^ I agree. I also would choose a chiffon or fabric that floats/skims the body. stay away from brocades, heavy silks, etc.
