for the past whole month my forhead is a lil greasy on daily base.. this is not etirely unusual for me, but the thing is ive also had these mini zits kindof rash on my forehead… the zits feel very firm but are very smal, only few millimetres at max..cant sqeeuze them out, theyre too small…
They just dont go away, its also been atleast a month…
I cant describe exactly what they are, but i think it might me zits filled with (hard) greece or something? im no expert… theyre not painful, no pus comign out and no itch…
I found a picture on the net which comes close to what i have…
please how do i get rid of this, im already cleaning my face with facewash n sometimes apply tonic.. pffffffffffffff!
oh i went through hell trying to get rid of those! what i did was use proactiv, but while it worked temporarily it honestly dried out my skin. Now i just use a cleanser, use the repairing treatment from proactiv (which has 2.5% of benzoyl peroxide) and then moisturizer (no toner). The proactiv (only the treatment) worked really well for my skin.
I tried lemon as well, but it seriously irritated my skin. Give it a try but be very careful. It can have a really bad reaction.
Lemon does not suits everyone's skin so first apply it on only one zit and see if found any difference... wesy lemon is a bleaching agent and it is good for the removal of acne scars.. but u can give a try .. which facewash do u use ?l
Moisturise, if you keep washing your face and if you aren't applying a moisturiser your skin will make excess oil. Get a completely natural face wash, no perfumes, no nothing and a moisturiser for the morning and a more heavy duty one for the night.
I remember having that years and years ago, plenty of water, moisturiser, health food made them vanish. Keep en eye on your diet, your salt and sugar intake etc.
Try natural methods before the more pharmaceutical methods, one of my friends got spots like that after laser treatment and her doctor prescribed these heavy duty drugs, the spots went but she has permanent scars.
The desi method would be to buy 'kachoor' and 'chaskoo' from a local Asian shop, crush them together and have one spoon before breakfast, it tastes like crap but it always always works when I bother taking it, plus around 8 glasses of water a day.
Also, stress can bring spots on, so relax and they'll be gone in no time :)
Seriously the kachoor and chaskoo thing works, so do it.
I MA have great skin in summer (as I have normal- dry skin) but winter isn't the best and sometimes I get a breakout due to the harsh winter and lack of moisture in the air. So this winter I decided to apply a mask of plain all natural yoghurt on my face and I left it until it dried (I read somewhere this would help) and Allhamdullilah it has cleared my skin and also stopped further breakouts. I apply it 1-2 times a week. I don't know whether this would be suitable for oily skin though but I guess it's worth a shot because yoghurt contains zinc which is very healing for the skin. Also use any over the counter topical ointment which contains benzoyl peroxide. Lemon also works but if you are finding that it stings too much, dilute it with water first then apply. Also, increase your water intake and stick to eating a lot of fresh berries as this helps too.
I heard that tee tree oil is really really good for this kinda stuff. My friend used it, and it helped clear up her skin with amazing results. You can get it concentrated in a little bottle from the chemists and just apply a tiny tiny bit on a cotton wool pad. Or you could dilute it a bit with some water then apply. I think my friend did it daily and then moved on to three times a week. It does absolutely stink the room out tho :D
Also, drink lots of water. I get pimples when I'm stressed and there's not much I can do apart for try to take regular exercise and eat healthily.
My skin: is quite dry and i have never had any pimples n my skin is not sensitive as in i dont get rashes n stuff quickly... which makes me lazy and i end up not taking care of my skin.. but lately ive found my skin to be even more dry and maybe a lil thin?... i guess its also the age thing :P so i should start taking care... going to the chemist tomo :)
so this is me just complaining :P
im using Diadermine face wash n cleansing milk. I have the toner aswell but i dont use it much... what i use daily for my face is nivea soft..which is a cream for ur face specific i think.
could you advice me what is best for my skin type in general, coz i have no clue..im a virgin to skin products.. Daily products for dry skin.
funky nails: I also have dry skin and I swear by Biotherm products. I use both the Aqua Source cleanser and moisturiser from Biotherm which is suitable for normal to dry skin and MA it has great results. I would definetly recommend this.
Differin (adapalene) is great. It's like retin-A but much milder. Takes 5-6 weeks to work and increase skin turnover. It's a prescription med though and you'll have to visit a dermatologist to get it.
If you don't want to do that, then may be glycolic peels might help. But I think it's much safer and easier to use a gel that you just have to apply daily without the risk of skin damage.
Try to stay away from chemical based remedies as they only tend to aggravate the condition. Too much cleansing, exfoliating and toning can also be harmful for your skin.
It is best to try and prevent breakouts which can be done with internal cleansing. For that the only thing that seems to have helped me is organic apple cider vinegar. I dilute 1 tbsp of ACV in water and drink it first thing in the morning and sometimes in the evening as well. It stinks, but it works!
For topicals, use tea tree oil upto 3 times a day (I use the one from The Body Shop) and also just to rejuvenate my skin I use a mask made of organic yogurt, honey and a few drops of fresh lemon juice. It's mild enough but gives the extra oomph.
Of course, everyone's skin is different. You have to experiment and see what works for you. But I cant stress enough the importance of using organic ingredients for your skin and for your overall health.
Good luck!
I've had this for a couple of years now, and I have yet to find a cure. The only way I can seem to find a...balance is to keep benzoyl peroxide with me always and to scrub my face every 2nd day. It seems to help but again haven't been able to stop it at all
