i think forbidden fruit would be more about someone who you would know personally.

I disagree. Not necessarily. Forbidden fruit would be someone whom you KNOW is “unacceptable” because they conflict with your beliefs/lifestyle/etc…and you don’t always have to “know” them on a personal level in order for them to be forbidden. Let’s say you’re Muslim…and you see this very attractive non-Muslim colleage. You can tell just by that person’s name and maybe other visibile indicators that they’re not Muslim…so that person becomes “forbidden” to you…even though you never got to know them on a more personal/intimate level.
