Nice Step and IMO at least give him a chance and then criticized. We have given chances other 2 parties again & again so why not IK ?
But I don’t think so they can come into power as peoples mentality level can’t be change. The Blind Followers of PPP & PML (N) ll never change their mind set :cobra:

**They talk about lack of vision because they can hardly find anything wrong with party, they have this guilt of supporting proven looters, gangsters and liars but they can't help it because they treat a political party as their favourite sports team that they will keep supporting no matter what that political party is doing to the country.
It's obviously their excuse that PTI has no vision because:
When was the last time any other party discussed the plan of tackling corruption??
When was the last team you heard them talking about money laundering and it's impacts on economy??
Who has been openly discussing the importance of tax collection?
Whoelse has been talking about importance of appointing people on merit??
Whoelse has talked about changing the patwari system as it results in hundreds of deaths due to land disputes + collecting computerised land ownership data?
As the thread highlights, how many energy seminars have we seen?
Whoelse has talked about de-weaponisation to curb street crimes?
These are my friend the real issues of Pakistan and PTI has not just highlighted the issues but have proposed solutions as well.
All we heard from other parties is, oh we will finish corruption or we will do this and that without plan (PPP as i remember hasn't said a word about corruption because they actually define corruption).
And they will still claim that PTI has no plans (as if they have any?).

Lotas are not confined to just one party. Even Gilani began his political career in PML-N.
And what do you think Marvi Memon (admittedly a smart lady) is?
You would have a point if Mr Tarin had held Energy post in the past. As far as I know he hasn't
Good, honest and sincere leadership does make a huge difference. Call them lotas or whatever but these people never had a chance to work under a non-corrupt set-up in the past

The only comments I heard was praising PTI and IK nothing else. None of the participant told that what were the plans, how the projects would be developed to fill the gap and who would finance these? This seminar was nothing but marketting stunt to promote IK and PTI.
Zardari has not been successful yet materializing Iran Gas pipe line project because of Sam's opposition. Every one knows that this project would help a lot in solving energy crisis. But neither IK nor his chamchaas have enough courage to comment on it.
Every child knows that solar energy or coal may be the solution. So what's the big deal when some one says that without mentioning any comprehensive plan. I have also not seen such in print media either. It is more like befooling Pakistan public by a freshman politican and his cronies.

If you had bothered to watch the presentation, you wouldn't be asking these questions.
As for Zardari's brilliant initiatives, we are all aware of them.

I have seen half of representation, which I want to summarize:
1) This problem is ignored since last 40 years(So PTI was sleeping for the last sixteen years)
2)previous governments built gas plants without taking in to account of Gas shortages(IK supported dictator previous government)
3)Gas from Iran will be expensive hence these newly built gas plants will remain idle or run partially(This seems to be not true, just down play the government and its ambitions to meet the shortage)
4)Build dams with the consensus (which is not going to happen)
5)PTI will privitize power sector(previous government and this government have tried this without any success)

No it is not. But what PTI or IK is saying is practically impossible. People with absolute power could not achieve this, tell me how IK will achieve this? Let me give you an example of Kala Bagh Dam which is not acceptable to three provinces of Pakistan, how in the hack Ik will bring consensus on this?
Coming back to speech. First of all the reception is very poor, most of the speach is not clear. Speaker, spoke words too fast which could not be udnerstood. He said about using coal as fuel for power plants. Does he know that how much polution these plants will create if operating with full capacity? How stealing and wastage of electricity and gas will be eliminated is also not clear in the speach. Is it possible if you can link transcript of his speach so that the portions which are not clear can be understood eaisly?

Punjab who waste a lot of water should not be given a drop from the newly constructed reservoirs.. we can cultivate a lot lot of lands in Sindh/Baluchistan/southern Punjab with these waters.. lets think national.. for our common gains without pulling legs of each other..
