I would recommend London for Bridal wear, try The Broadway, Southall. I have been to Birmingham, they have nice things there too but is pricey. For after wedding clothes, the small bazaar type places in Southall have really nice stuff at reasonable prices. Green Street in London is good too, that's in Upton Park.
