Now comes hadith, the holy prophet (pbuh) himself nor did the rashidoon Caliphs take active measures in collecting and compiling hadiths. This all began 150 years or so after the death of the holy prophet(pbuh). No doubt, the compilers of hadiths were men of high moral stature and took stringent measures in getting to the true sayings of the holy prophet(pbuh). So hadiths are also an important asset for our guidance but they should be tested against Quran and sunnah. So it is not good to reject hadiths altogether like ‘chakralwis’ nor should we put hadith on a higher precedence than Quran.
man u r surely mistaken. i think u need to read a gud book about asool e hadith and its history of hadith compilation. further discuss it wid some ustaad ul hadith.
