For married people

if you could go back in time…would you still get married?

anything you would change? why or why not?

For married people

Considering how the past 3 days have been, my answers will be

  1. no
  2. yes
  3. because

(I most likely will come back and change my answers once the Cold War has ended so take this post with a grain on salt)

Im not married. Can I still go back in time?

Re: For married people

Re: For married people

Unmarried can go in circles but not back in time :D

Re: For married people

Based on this reply alone, NO new contentious post should be allowed in Relationships thread for the rest of the week

Re: For married people

same here! Alhamdulilah! :))

Re: For married people

I dunno. I like being married. I liked it when I was not married. Very ghambeer samasya. Why don’t I just go back in time and see what happens :hmmm:

Re: For married people

Yes... I would get married again..
To the same person?!? That is up in the air
3. I did the joint family system and I wouldn't marry someone soo attached to his family. We have a good life, but there have been plenty of compromises on both ends that simply aren't worth it at the end of the day.

Re: For married people

Re: For married people

I miss my single status a lot. Life was so much simpler, so much better. I feel I have lost too much of myself to marriage and too much energy in trying to protect it and keep it.

If I had put this much energy in doing anything else in life , I would have reached somewhere good :))))

The good thing about marriage is the awesome children you get . That is the one and only thing that keeps you going strong in the face of all hardship.

Re: For married people

^So if not for your child, you think marriage is more like 'meh' compared to single life?

I'm single, but I wouldn't mind going back in time to prevent my many screw-ups. But then I think that maybe preventing all my mistakes would result in a different me, possibly a more weaker and naiver me.

An interesting question for both the single and married folks alike would be: If you could go back in time to edit your life, which of your screw-ups would your prevent and which would you let happen and why?

Re: For married people

Yes I would get married again
Yes to the same person
Would change nothing, despite everything, because all things in a sequence finally gave me my baby boy, who I love more than the world.

Re: For married people

No I don't wana married again becoz of many things once u get married everyone keep asking about good news and so much questions about personal life which I hate it. These things give tensions more if u r ttc

Re: For married people

So any good news that you would like to share with us? Koi moonh meetha karne wali baat?
