Alright, this has happened to me several times now and it’s really uncomfortable.
Usually,in changing rooms at the gym u have guys walking around showing off their manhood not giving a hoot. It has to be one of the most awkward situations ever especially when u are alone in the changing room. Ok, I’m supposed to mind my own damn business, but wht the bloody hell am I supposed to do when he’s standing near the entrance bending over( yes I was mooned, hurray!) trying to wipe his feet clean . I mean come on!
Guy on guy nudity is just so uncomfortable, I wonder if ladies feel the same way?
O godd its extremely ewwww…first time in Canada when i went to gym i had no clue about changing rooms…i ran out of there after what i saw heheh…finally it took me a while to understand that its a norm here…girls are taking shower standing right in the middle completely naked…or they are changing or walking around naked as though no one is looking at them…how can you stop urself from not looking even for milli second?..i literally had to fixiate my eyes on the ground when passing by..thats what i do now…but it can be soo distracting sometimes the things they do..as Cooldude described :yukh:
imagin u have just finished playing cricket and ur captin is standing in front of u naked while u r siting and talkign to u about the game naked .. as if nothing is rong. that takes alot of sabar and nerves of steel :|
Guys walking around naked in the locker room is not guy on guy nudity but besharmi. I don’t know what kind of locker rooms you go to but the ones I am in guys don’t walk around naked. There everyone respects everyone else’s privacy.
I’ve been through this only once. Last semester my friends and I used to play badminton and one day we went to put our bags in the lockers they give us in the locker rooms, one short naked chinese (Asian) dude was standing there That’s very uncommon in the guys’ room. But I’ve heard that girls in their locker rooms are naked most of the times :-s
It is odd only if you make it odd…I’m sure all of you get comfortable after few minutes when you see so many naked bodies around you. It’s a human nature to feel uncomfortable…especially when you belong to a culture where it is taught not to make your private parts public.
However, what I don’t understand is the double standards…You are so cool in the locker room..nobody gives a damn about other’s private parts but as soon as you step outside there is this strange ‘gay phobia’ among people. People of same sex don’t touch each other ..hug or shake hands. If you are comfortable inside the locker room you shouldn’t have any insecurities hugging/ greeting a friend either.
