Modelling, acting, dating, parties, beach, trips to Dubai and Maldives and shopping. That is what GEO and ARY have told me girls do in Pakistan.

A lot of girls enroll in art classes, cooking classes.. film-making, language classes, photography etc as well.

hmmmm you know its not just girl/boy issue. Many parents even think that boys doing any thing beside studies is waste of time. In those house holds I wont expect girls to do much.

Yes girls do go to cooking/make-up classes alot.
Some if possible do enroll in arts too.
But again if you want to do more there is nothing stopping you. If you have right attitude.

It also depends upon location in Pakistan. The modern cities like Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore have more career opportunities for women.

In the less modern cities of Pakistan, there are fewer career opportunities for women, a lack of recreational/personal development programs, and greater social restrictions.

but seriously..i can get her Question. b/c my family in pakistan is VERY conservative, and they live in Lahore. The girls don't leave the house. period. They all go up to BA but not a single one works, or drives. They're not rich so they dont' go shopping everyday or eat out with friends. They don't have computers so no spending hours online. Of course the guys have all the fun.
They're good people , but for this reason I will never consider settling in Pakistan, My life would be totally different from theirs and I don't see it as a "good" different.
