Hello guys I’m not sure if anyone has heard of this Doda paneer herb? But i read on a gs forum it did miracles for someone in their acne healing. So I am curious has anyone heard of this for acne or aloe Vera drink? Or Saafi drink too for acne?
I have tried paneer boti, along with a few other herbs and they did wonders for my acne and skin and also stomach issues I had. You soak them overnight and have the water, which tastes quite bitter, in the morning.
so a quick google search shows that paneer boti and doda paneer are the same thing.

Hii raania! Thank you soo much for the reply! Its just lately ive started to get pimples due to stress, I've changed my diet around. But I know for sure whenever i eat sugar, my pimples erupt like an explosion the next day lol.
I just have few questions: How long did it take to show any effects on acne? and how were the effects like? As in did it really effectively clear you up?
Thank you soo much again, really didnt expect replies for the thread! Im grateful you shared your experience, I might just purchase them now.

Hey, more of a reason to believe they work. Have you heard of insulin resistance? It doesn't necessarily mean you have diabetes but it just means that your body is sensitive to insulin.
So when we consume sugar, it leads to increased glucose levels in the blood and this causes increase release of Insulin . Hence causing your body to become insulin resistant (too much sugar),in some people this can lead to an inflammatory response in the form of acne or pimples. I dont understand why dermatologists still insist that acne isnt related to diet. Changing my diet cleared my acne up and I just have few whiteheads now.
Sorry for long reply lol but I hope this helps as to why doda paneer might be pretty useful thing in combating acne.
Thank you. I will look it up in the nearby stores too.
After trying out numerous stuff my acne has improved quite a lot. Now I don’t get the big cystic acne I used to get till december 2013. Now I get normal acne, tiny ones. Working on getting rid of that.
You said your acne cleared up and you only have whiteheads, what changes did you make in your diet ? For how long ?

Congratulations on getting rid of the cystic acne! well Im on a paleo diet (caveman diet), basically like diet where I dont eat anything refined or processed so ONLY natural foods. And also no milk I replaced milk with Almond milk instead.I also eat only dates or little raisins and maybe bananas as my sugar source but very limited amount.
And it took me first two weeks and there I noticed huge difference, my big swollen pimple has gone and not its just little scarring. Like the area looks redish, but alhamdolillah it controlled the breakouts. But Ive been recommended to try herbs to definitely supplement the diets.
Ahh the paleo diet. I have been looking it up recently along with the SCD and the GAPS diet, but the GAPS diet looks more appealing to me than the other two
Still haven’t decided if I will be able to go through it or not.
For how long have you been on the diet ? 2 weeks ? Or two weeks was the time it took to notice a difference ?
Safaa give yourself a month, my skin cleared up and freshened, helped with the blemishes too. I took this herb in conjunction with two others I will PM you the details.

Your post wasn't long and even if it were, no need to apologize for length. Unfortunately many here make a big deal of length. I have noticed that when I consume more dairy especially in the form of cheese and ice cream along with sugary junk food, I will break out. According to Eastern medicine and this would include Ayurveda and TCM (traditional Chinese Medicine), foods have a taseer. They either have a warming or cooling or neutral effect on the body and an excess of heat or cold or dryness or wetness has various effects on the body. I've often heard from my mom and you might have as well that don't eat such n such a food because of it's "garam" effect on the body. So, just like you I also find it strange that Western doctors say there's no link between diet and acne. The food industry is not without corruption, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's some monetary deal between the medical/pharmaceutical and food industries. That's the conspiracy theorist in me. I've heard that these days doctors don't know much about natural foods in that they don't usually suggest what foods to eat unless you ask, but will suggest pills/drugs. I know there are exceptions among physicians, but I have come across this complaint/observation.
Acnes are terrible ... i feel ya. My face used to be filled with them when I was in HS. Never tried any herbal stuff though. I tried doxycycline and stuff and clindamycin but it didn't work. It would get better for a while but then come back again. Finally i went on Accutane for like 6 months and since then I don't even get one zit. It has been 5 years and no zit. Accutane was good but pretty harsh esp. for women - i think it might be contraindicated

I have tried doxycyline , clindamycin and azithromycin and a few home remedy stuff. All of them together worked well and cleared up cystic acne. Now I get normal acne once in a while. I will try the stuff raania suggested for that.
Dermatologist recommended accutane but its too harsh, not something I'd opt for.
i took it 7-8 yrs ago, dont remember small details except it helped immensely with acne and skin , its a blood purifier so I guess the effects showed on the skin. I am waiting on the exact name of the other herb I took it with and will pm you the details.
