Brazil did it. Very professioanl display by Brazil and Ronaldo was simply superb.
** Some stats. The total number of goals scored in the tournament was 161. Ronaldo gets the golden boot award for being the highest individual goal scorer with 8 goals **
Good to see 2 consecutive games where the referee did not affect the result - in fact both the Kuwaiti ref (Turkey - Korea) and the Italian today (Brasil - Germany) were damn good.
So continent wise we have:
1) S. America
2) Europe
3) Asia
3) Asia
Not bad, now just need an African team to get to the semis and ...
Brazil didnt play that good, Germany just didnt know how to play that well. And of course Brazil should play good its the only thing they do, these people just dance all day long, they have no real life.

YAHOOOOOOOOO!!! Brazil beats proud Kahn. !!! Finally the word “best” goalie makes a big mistake and concedes a goal. He really deserved to lose in this style after his proud comments along the whole tournament.

i agree with u in a 100%. proud guys dont deserv to win…
ppl used to say Brasil was not a good team, maybe they could t even get the semi final… for many of they (soccer players)it is a personal victory. i like that.
Well played Brazil and Ronaldo.
What a great game, much better than the previous 2 finals.
Those of you who are jumping up and down because Germany lost should realize that they just got a reality check, Germany is a very good team, Oliver Kahn made mistakes only because he injured his right hand, but still its no excuse.
Real match savior for Brazil was their goal keeper Marcos who kept brilliantly.
"its in the history of brazilian football that they never appreciate the goalie" heard it on CBC
waisey one interesting fact is that according to new fifa rule Brazil has to qualfy to go in next years worldcup whereas Germany is in the wc2006 coz they are hosting it.

The Game Responds:
*And who were you going for, bandwagon boy? Argentina? "Ooh....everyone is saying Argentina will win...I will say it too.....yipee!!!" Atleast my team made it to the finals and gave a very tough fight in the first half. Everyone will freakin' admit that Germany played better in the first half and completely controlled the three *overrated* R's in the Brazilian attack. Kahn is still one tough goalkeeper; it just wasn't his day unfortunately. Ronaldo was lucky, Rhonaldino can live off his fluke goal against England, and Rivaldo can keep kicking the ball from the midfield. Germany, you played very well;it just wasn't your day at the end. The Game salutes you. People, That Is All.*
Do you see what The People's ARTIST is painting here?

Yes sure Umair. He made the mistakes coz he was injured on his finger. Dream on, dude!
The ball was rebounded by his right shoulder not his finger!
Secondly even he said it was a blunder not coz of his finger but of his "slow" reflexes.
And the final was not as exciting as the match South Korea against Turkey.

well played Brazil. but too bad the final wasn't that exciting...only the first 15 mins in the second half were worth watching, but after brazil got the lead it was not that interesting anymore

Well it was still a great story and nice to see Ronaldo wipe out the memories from 98. Brazil won 7 staright games so I don't think anybody can argue they didn't deserve it.
Well done Brazil and Ronaldo for spiking the nazi march before it reached the overwhelming stage.
