This is the first time in my life I have encountered such behavior and I really dont know what to make of it or how to deal with it. I think I want to steer clear of suing him or getting involved into any such actions. Just give me my Interview and be done with it.

This is an extremely odd behaviour. Never allow him to come anywhere near your feet. I suggest wear socks and shoes to go with formal office/interview clothing. If he does try to divert to anything than the interview, go to the reception and ask to see his senior. Report everything to him. This man does not seem 'right'. Do report the incident to his senior if the same thing happens again. Be brave and bold. That WOULD NOT risk you the job you are being interviewed for. So DO NOT be scared.
