i'm diabetic so i watch what i eat. i've to strictly follow the number of units i'm supposed to have and what i'm supposed to have. i'm supposed to have 6 meals a day or else my sugar levels will drop to a dangerous level [last october, i almost went into coma] i'm allowed to have 3 units at b'fast, 5 units at lunch/dinner and 1-2 units for snacks in between. to give u an idea of what 1 unit is like...i slice of bread = 1 unit; 1 small bowl of rice [brown] = 1 unit, 1 small apple = 1 unit etc. i also have to watch for each food's gkycemic index.**
All that you eat everyday write it down here for record :D then u'll see yr eating habbits/pattern n if you do need to change them.
It's about 1.53pm @ 1/7/2011 and so far i have had;
Breakfast:** Weetabix with Skim milk**
Tea
Lunch: Shaljum ChickenSalad with Yogourt
Dessert: Peethey Ka halwa :( (Feel guilty about this but mom just had to feed me this)
Drinks: Kavaa
Nice thread. Once I made food diary , kept on writing whatever I ate for two weeks thn I gave up lol
It really helps losing weight though.
Breakfast- Cereal with soya milk Mid break- Apple + orange Lunch-southern fried chicken baguette Dinner-A plate of chicken biryani with salad + Green tea
i slipped a bit today, I ate almonds and those things have 160 calories and 12 grams of fat in them per serving which is only 3 tablespoons of them. darn nuts, why do they have to taste so good
other than that i had the same old boring stuff for breakfast, oh for lunch i had cod fish with masala and garlic/ginger, i tsp of olive oil with broccoli and boiled corn.

Wl be having mixed fruit (asusal) at nite. Since a week i have always been having fruit at nite i think its not very good bt i m nt sure, any thoughts on this?
p.s had too much 2day :( n didnt even excerise. damn!
