Oh boy, have you ever had Peking (Beijing) Duck? I went with my Chinese Friend the other day to have some and it was great. They give this kind of masala type sauce to dip it in, it's so good.

@Muqa
Idli Sambhar comes from Maharastra? I thought it came from Southern India? Vaise Idli Sambhar is my favorite food! (Bapu mera bangalore ton a, ton loki menu madarasi sardar kehnde ne ahahaha)

And Karachi is very famous for sea food, na? Prawn Biryani, Fish fry, etc. I can't find any Karachi style restaurants here :\

Re: food & culture

In our desi cuisine, we call stuff from KPK/Afghanistan area as Northwestern Frontier. Here you have a lot of meat type dishes, like Kebabs especially :D

Re: food & culture

It is. Sometimes my friend’s mom will make it for Chinese New Year, they’ll also make some Prawns and lots of Pork dishes. And if you like Spicy food, you’ll love Southern Chinese food (Sichuan style)

And who can forget about Indo Chinese style cooking, eh? My uncle actually runs an Indian Chinese restaurant in Bangalore!
