I’m finding that my patience is really running out towards FOB’s. They seem to be really inconsiderate and make comments which have double meanings all the time - I never ‘get’ the actual message until 2 weeks down the line. I’m really annoyed at a few FOB’s at the moment - and I generally avoid them like the plague, but it’s hard when some are in your family.
I’ve tried to understand where they are coming from, but I can’t. Is there something wrong with me, do I have very low tolerance of people, especially FOB’s? It has been a build up of alot of things over the years and now it’s come to a point where I think I may just burst.
no need to have burst out, just keep AWAY i.e especially from FOB neighbors in your area
If anyone approaches you just say sorry 'no Urdu' and keep walking.....I did that last week and I am not sorry.

I haven't burst yet, but I'm worried I may very soon. And it won't be a pretty sight.
When a non-FOB is being inconsiderate then you blame it on his/her personality.
Then why are you blaming the inconsideration behavior of these people on their background/where they came from instead of their personality?
Because more than one FOB has acted like this. I haven't come across many Brits acting like this. I know I'm generalising and there are many FOB's who are considerate, caring, etc. but on the whole, I've found that most FOB's are like this. Maybe it's a clash of cultures?
So because you haven’t come across many Brittish people who are like that, and more than one FOB has acted like that, so it is safe to make such conclusions?
I could do that, but it’s a bit difficult when there are FOB’s in your family who you come across quite often. And then they do/say stuff which affects you. But I do generally avoid them, I guess it’s the only way.
