I’m finding that my patience is really running out towards FOB’s. They seem to be really inconsiderate and make comments which have double meanings all the time - I never ‘get’ the actual message until 2 weeks down the line. I’m really annoyed at a few FOB’s at the moment - and I generally avoid them like the plague, but it’s hard when some are in your family.

I’ve tried to understand where they are coming from, but I can’t. Is there something wrong with me, do I have very low tolerance of people, especially FOB’s? It has been a build up of alot of things over the years and now it’s come to a point where I think I may just burst.

I don’t even know where to start. Firstly you’re cussing FOBs on a forum which is full of (mostly) intelligent people from all over the world, and expect a sympathetic reply.

Secondly, you seem to be making ‘FOBs’ sound like they have the plague or something. You’re seriously sounding like a silly teenager at the moment.

I am really sick of some British asians acting so high and mighty about some FOBs, like their parents weren’t one. Talk about generalising. I know so many people who have this casual, almost racist attitude towards people PURELY because they weren’t born in England. Islam teaches you to be humble and not discriminate about these kinds of things. And honestly? Some of the best people I know are freshies.
