Expect more of it due to global warming. Hopefully, they can save at least some of the flood water for those dry seasons when water is needed for human and industrial use.

I think melting of glaciers has a role to play as well, and then for many years the governments have not carried out cleaning of canals, not to forget tree logging which could otherwise serve as a first line of defence…
