Flat tummies

How in the world can a desi get their tummy totally flat. Any suggestions? (serious ones)

My brother used the workout in the book "Gut Busters". It looks like a novel. He got a flat and well-toned tummy within about 3 months.

once labor is over......

A well balanced diet along with a scheduled workout session involving crunching, aerobics, cycling while lying down and many more excercises. You just have to motivate yourself, there is no quick fix.

Is it any wonder all of retailers make big bucks because people can't motivate themself to follow a strict diet plan along with proper workouts.

I want a flat tummy too :crying:

but that’s the hardest part! I hate crunches and stuff :disgust:

i used to hate crunches too.. but i think once u get the hang of it they actually become fun... and ur motivated to push urself further..

i dont have a flat tummy.. lekin im hoping Inshallah in a few months if i keep the crunches regular.. something will have to happen :)

theres another exercise my bro taught me.. but its kinda hard to explain.. but boy does it work ur tummy

^^wuh r crunches? :konfused: ermm me wants a flat tummy too :crying: buh i tried da push ups n sit ups n stuff buh den i kinda missed sum days n stuff n den i get all lazy n stuff..arghhhh n den i end up at da same spot whea i started from..arghhh darn it i hate it  :crying:

crunches are painful at first but if u do about 20 every day and increase the numbers u can get there u also get terriable muscle pains... :( but its worth it

At least three women's mags now have cover stories that are variations on the old potboiler "flat abs in minutes a day." No wonder. Who wouldn't want that? A couple of minutes a day and that spare tire is gone -- minimum effort, maximal payoff. Put that story on the cover ... right next to the article on miracle cellulite creams.

Think it's too good to be true?

You're right.

Look through the articles -- they're all pretty interchangeable -- and you'll find an assortment of pretty good ab exercises. Crunches, side crunches, reverse crunches, the usual suspects. Done correctly, these exercises will absolutely build abdominal muscles.

Should you do them? You bet.

Will they work? Ah, there's the rub.

See, nearly everyone who wants a "flatter tummy" really wants to lose fat. And that's why the magic, "minutes a day" routines are a scam. Because -- hear me now -- no amount of crunches, no matter how religiously you do them, is going to get rid of fat around your middle. Fat comes off by eating in a way that causes the body to go into its "savings account" of fat and start using it up for energy. It comes off by burning calories through exercise. Lots of it. And it comes off when you increase your metabolic rate by building muscle.

^^so does runnin work?? n how many o dem push ups n sit ups u gota do everyday? :crying: n wuh kinda exercise

agreed.. they really do work if u keep up with the.. i started off with 40.. then went to 50.. and now can actually do a 100 in a go... and trust me.. i aint even fit..

hey chorni… try getting an ‘ab roller’.. they real cheap.. and they are really good.. better than doing sit ups on their own… it helps work on ur abs…

start by doing 20 ab crunches (as in like a sit up).. then do 20 on each side.. as in twist ur body so ur on ur side.. but ur head is still up.. then roll up… (the thing should come with instructions… if not.. i’ll get some pics in a few minutes)

Perfection is an illusion, especially with the human body. And anyways, who says having a flat stomach is taking you closer to "perfection"?

Just give up. Join me and our guts shall rule the world!!!!

Maddy, I mourn you…and your tummy! :crying:

work out, so muscles can stretched! only way and do not sit on chair for long, walk or do jog, avoind using too much starch or sweets, keep good care of stomach, don't let it flood! thats it!

Moreover, it depend on heritage what you get from family...
but muscular work out is all solution!

Allahm du lillah I am succesful in maintaining a flat one :-)
