According to the " revised " definition of Flat Track Bully, any Pakistan player who fails to make double century outside Pakistan will be considered a flat track bully. It really doesn’t matter if they score in 170’s or 190’s.
Expect a revision in this definition once some one from Pakistan scores double century outside Pakistan
^^ they are not flat track bullies ehsan bhai, however they lack application and mental strength to do this with consistent measure; Yes Yousef has been an exception in the series so far with many runs behind his name. I hope in time the consistency factor will be part and parcel of their (middle order) batting.
Mohammad Yousuf is piling up inspirational inngs while Younis is showing that he can indeed help the team with his bat. I am extremely happy that these two are taking over the middle order that dominated before by Javed and Inzamam. We have a great future ahead when these two are present and playing consistently as ever.
It's very irresponsible of you to make abstract arguments that are totally baseless as well, just for the sake of criticizing.
"Yes I know Younis and Yousuf have been making runs, but I want them to apply themselves more and be consistent."
Do you see how asinine your argument is? What is being consistent, a double hundred in each innings? You are the armchair critic being addressed in this thread, if you havent' already guessed.
Yousuf has performed in England before as well, his ODI record (ave 57.75) in England is better than his career (41.04). Yousuf's Test average was 22.x before this series, but he had played only 2 Tests so average isn't as reliable a number.
Younis however doesn't have impressive record in ODIs (ave of 19) in England, his Test record was 35 ave in Eng vs 48 ave in overall career. But he also played only 2 Tests in England before this series.
So in all, Yousuf has simple reasserted himself while Younis has proved that he can also play better than simply being flat-track-bully.
I have not been against Yousuf, but have been against Younis. Younis's most impressive performances have been against India I believe. So this series he gains more respect, I hope he can repeat it in next Test as well when Flintoff returns, I am not sure if Plunkett will be back though.

I agree captain but why to call someone a flat track bully when he hasn't got a chance to prove himself. Younis never had a chance to prove himself in England except in 2001. He reemerged as our key player in the last 2 years and has delivered whenever needed. It's not his fault that during these 2 years he never got the chance to play in England or Australia.
BTW Flintoff isn't returnung in next Test. I think he is targetting his possible return for Ocotober.
I was trying to dig a post where some people wanted Mohammad Yousaf should be dropped because he is a FLAT TRACK bully, i predicted Mohammad Yousaf to be named "MAN OF THE SERIES" and i am pretty sure he will be name MOS :)
Younis Khan was named "useless Khan" by many on this board and i liked his spirit and dedication and always thought he can play well at test level and he is proving himself as well.
I think we are too impatient, our guys hardly ever get to play on bouncy tracks, our domestic pitches are DEAD so why blame our players for that, when they get some oractice, they start performing, they failed in the last test because the pitch produced EXTRA ORDINARY bounce and you can't really expect our players to adjust there and score double centuries.
Younis has scored runs in Australia, New Zealand, and now England. He is no flat track bully. It's only our stupid Pakistani nation who keeps criticizing our players just for the heck of it, even though the world acknowledges that Inzi, Yousuf, and Younis are right up there with the best currently (look up the world rankings if you have to).

I am not asking them to make 100/ inning at all, to give you a reason with validity; if you have not seen yourself the 2nd test match b/w Pak vs Eng (recently). my point is quite simple = the way they got out, go back and see the highlights it will jog your memory for sure. and no I dont think so I am the armchair critic of this thread.
FYI (Sir Dig A Lot) that comment is simply what I see here in another twist of word(s) for you, lack of concentration :p
P.S what I said was for the Middle order not couple of players!
Ehsan bhai, I think you know that 10 innings in not a measure for calculating avg's, however your point is valid, but what I am saying is that the way they get out (middile order of Pakistani team) shows lack of concentration, prime example 1st and2nd test match Pak tour of England.
