Five major blasts rocked Jaipur city on Tuesday. The incidents took place at 7:35 PM near the Manik Chowk Police Station area. At least 10 people are said to be killed and more than two dozens are injured. The death toll may rise. The injured have been rushed to Janana hospital and SMS hospitals
Three points have been identified by the Chief Information Commissioner of Jaipur, Rohit Singh. He says that one blast has taken place at the Manik Chowk Police Station area. The other blast according to him has been near the Lakshmi Mishtaan Bhandar which is in Johari Bazaar
The third blast took place in Tripolia Bazar where a Hanuman temple drew a large number of devotees on Tuesday. The fourth blast has been reported at Sanganeri Gate.
The blasts set off panic and near-stampede situation at all the five congested localities. The area is fairly crowded, especially in the evening when people are returning from offices to their homes.
Traffic movement has been obstructed and panic is now setting in. The police was caught unawares.
One blast went off in a car while another at a shop.
Singh, says that they are still to get confirmed reports about the locations of the blasts. He says that there is no report of any casualties yet.
All the areas that have been targetted are tourist spots. There have been Intelligence reports earlier, warning of an attack on Jaipur.
The blasts have happened at a time when the whole of Jaipur is in the grips of IPL cricket frenzy. Most of the police and security forces are busy in the preparations of the IPL matches.
There have been communal tensions in the city, but no blasts except for the blast in October 2007 at the dargah of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer. Then two people were killed and 17 injured. http://www.mynews.in/fullstory.aspx?storyid=4892
All the blasts inside the walled city near a fort which is a tourist destination.

The whole world knows (& we Indians have always known) that the main source of recruitment, training, arming and directing the attacks to create communal disharmany & confusion in India - is PAKISTAN.
One way to stop this nonsense is to Fight fire with fire. The RSS, VHS, Bajrang Bali's could be trained, armed, and directed to attack specifically the Jihadi recruitment centres & their leaders.
Unfortunately, as Pakistan has learned, that at some stage the Jihadi's will stop listening to their ISI masters, and start following their own agendas. This is what I fear could happen, if India too unleased their fundamentals into Pakistan.
So, though I have said the above in anger, there will be a time when people will say enough is enough. The USA, UK and the other forces too are nearing the end of their patience with Pakistan..

A silly and extremely biased post when civillians are hurt. A sad event.
When will Indian/Bharati show maturity?
When will they stop inciting other countires by using words like jihadis etc. when they should start looking in their own backyard for those people who are not satisfied with thier system leading to millions into poverty and hopelessness and social unequality. Who would let their own citizens living on streets in so large number and having value less than human being?
And before someone compares Pakistan with that..just for info, Pakistan had much less resources and has much better life standard for its citizens....comparatively speaking.
However, coming to the point.. at least the poster admitted India/Bharat has the capability of 'unleashing' the terror in Pakistan!!!
And who says Indians/Bharatis are not ALREADY recruiting and sending their agents in to Pakistan!!! We did have threads on this issue.

i hope those terrorists get caught and just given to jaipur police for justice.
i dont care what they have to do to catch them i just want them to be caught.

This is horrible. It is very difficult not to lose our cool and blame Pakistani agencies for this. The fact Jaipur was chosen clearly indicates this is perpetrated by India haters rather than any communal issues.

Is it difficult for you not to lose cool and blame someone who you just want or wish to be involved? What proof anyone has so far which would points to Pakistan.

There have been many bomb blasts in Pakistan and particularly in Lahore during the last few months. And I have no doubt that india was behind most of them.
Even if Pakistan is responsible for these bomb blasts. So what?? Do you think the ISI will just sleep and not act in retaliation while india continues support for anti-pakistan forces such as the Baluch separatists

You know what….once again we will be told this folklore repeated every time after killing civilians anywhere and then after a little blame game the Islamic media will indirectly justify such acts and in the end will declare that there is a design.
Off course our own loose press will create some doubts and these doubts will be used by the Islamic media as a complete proof to design the ‘design theory’.

i knew it that at some point in time some indian over here is gonna come and start bashing Pakistan for the blast.. I dont want to hear what indians think..i wanna know the evidence that these people have that led them to believe that Pakistan was behind it? So far none.. so please keep your comments to yourself, and pray for the families who lost their loved ones and pray that the planners of these blast be brought to justice.

What proof anyone has so far which would points to Pakistan.
We have got ample evidence that the blasts were masterminded by Indians themselves;Sothat the image of the "peace loving,gentlemen" of Pakistan may be tarnished.The methodwas similar to that of USA whobombed thier ownbuldings to tarnish the imageof Osama Bin Ladens.Poor Indians they dont know anything

The mind set is very clear. Muslims and Islam do not condone attacks on civillians. Many in this world learned this trait from Muslims. Take it or leave it. Its up to you.
