Today is officially first day of fall. But I do not see any leaves flying off the trees , All the trees are lush green and does not look like they will start falling anytime soon.
What about you neck of the woods ?
Who are those officials, by the way, who have the authority to declare the beginning and ending of seasons?

We've had a really good september so far. Usually by this time it's pretty cold but not this year. I am trying to enjoy it while I can.
When the heat will go away then our fall will start which by the way will be in winter . bummer

Today is the autumnal equinox - the day when the sun is most directly over the equator...thats what makes it the first day of fall. At each equinox (vernal and autumnal), me and the boyz stand an egg on end at 12 noon. On and around the exact time of equinox, gravity is less so an egg really can stand up on its end! Cool.
