Re: First Date Paying Etiquettes.
When I started dating my fiance, I always offered to split the bill. Whether it was dinner, movie, or some other outing. Even when I went on other dates (BEFORE fiance), I did the same. Its just a matter of simple etiquette and not giving off the vive that you’re somehow “entitled” to it.
I will add this…even though I always offered…I have never had a guy who actually allowed me to pay for dinner or anything else on the 1st date.
And for everything else (ie. conversation)…just be yourself! There really is nothing to be nervous about. If you’re normally talkative, then talk!
If you’re usually a quiet person…then there’s nothing wrong with that either. Since this is your potential future husband…you want him to see the real you. I’m sure you would not want to discover that his personality is different AFTER marriage…so following that logic…just be yourself. After all, if he doesn’t like your true personality…then do you really want to spend the rest of your life with him?
Good luck! ![]()
