Well, this fatwa is too quick. Why do you think MQM was behind firing?
But I know for sure that Urdu speaking people who were killed by those muhabbat people were not involved in firing, and it was muhabbat people who killed them mercilessly only due to their ethnic prejudice.
There are terrorists among Urdu speaking people just as there are among others. If we start taking sides between those terrorists based on ethnicity then we will be playing in their hands, and civil war will certainly ensue.

Remember that every crime committed by some Urdu speaker does not automatically mean MQM responsible for it. It is just like crimes committed by Sindhi speakers and PPP not necessarily responsible for them. There are extremists everywhere. To see them from the glasses of ethnicity is a grave mistake.

I agree that this was expected to happen if there were Sindhi nationalists coming to hold rallies in Karachi in the midst of people who have been demanding division of the province.
Similar thing would have resulted if rallies in favor of division happen in Thatta or Nawabshah, for example.
However, I am not sure it is so easy to involve MQM leadership in it. There are people like Muhajir Rabita Council and Haqiqi among Urdu speaking people whose history is marred with violence and extremist views.

I say divide Sindh and curtail this gang of thugs from interior Sindh (PPP)..................and yes, PPP is NOT a national party, it is strictly an ethnic party limited to Sindh and interior Sindh to be precise. I am sick of them playing the mazloom sindhi card time and again while ruining our lives.

I'm referring statements given by Memebers of MQM Rabita Committee members at different occasions (when in tussle with PPP). Deewaron pe likha padho means that if you don't agree to our terms than what is written on walls of Karachi is going to happen.
The question that is being raised from various forums is if that Movement is not supported by MQM, how they can freely conduct rallies in MQM dominant areas?

The best thing would be to stop imposition of PPP waderas over the city, and let representatives of the people of the city run the city themselves.
Even the mayor of the city is selected instead of being elected.

There is no anti Pakistan agenda being run in rural Sindh at this stage.
MQM should come up clear instance on the issue. If they need a separate province, make it clear through proper channel instead of hiding behind an organisation freely working in their areas and getting support from their ex- MPAs / MNAs.
As far as the question of city's representation, I've no issue if that is given in the hands of people on merit. Be those people are Urdu Speaking, Sindhi, Pathan or from any community. Karachi belongs to all.

Whoever did the firing on today's rally, its pretty clear that the harmony of the city is on stake now. Today's rally was just for letting know the people that people living in Sindh don't want Division. Why authorities tried to stop such rally to reach press Club, Governor House and CM house, when there have been rallies at these places for Division of Sindh few weeks back?
