Your being raised in America has zilch to do with your mindset about skin color. Its all in your upbringing. Its as simple as that. What you were taught or shown is what you believe.

No one taught or showed me anything I was not raised in a typical “Pakistani” home. It’s just my preference, ie some people like red cars some people want a blue one. We all have different preferences. Also what about my nephew - no one taught him anything.
