Final - India v Sri Lanka, (06 April 2014) Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur

Staying on topic (or Deedar)! :), finally got a chance to watch the film on DVD yesterday. All three incl. Dilip Kumar (plays a blind man with intensity), Ashok Kumar (the doctor in the love triangle) and Nargis have portrayed their emotions brilliantly. It is actually a love quadrangle…there is Champa as well !! The songs are melodious (even though the movie is slightly overloaded with them). The script has one flaw though. How can Shyamu (Dilip) remember his childhood love so passionately (to the point of almost worshipping her) but Mala (Nargis) has no recollection of that whatsoever? A bit strange.

There is quite a watchable version on youtube as well

Let’s just call it Abud. With a very soft emphasis on the letter U. :flowers: So if it’s Abud, my fine linguistic friend, then it means forever. And if it is Abaad, then it means populated or inhabited. So here the word denotes the former notion, as in an inhabited heart.

No, sir. :hypo: I am playing Holy.
