I was looking at odds UK bookies giving to India and SL. Their odds not only depends on winning chances teams have, but also depends on how people they expect are going to bet. Obviously, it shows many Indians are betting on India to win and bookies balancing the odds to take that into account ... in case India do win :).

For interest sake, I am putting down their odds (Bet365 ... that is linked to Cricinfo website).

India = 57.84 percent chance to win
SL = 42.16 percent chance to win

Or after taking into account their own cut, ties any any mishaps (5.6955 percent) ... they would pay

£1.66 for every 1 pound bet on Indian winning
£2.20 for every 1 pound bet on SL winning

I think this odd would change with time. Anyhow, as far as I am concerned, I still think SL has better chance of winning.

[Since I do not bet, their odds are meaningless to me :)]

After Tanha opened the thread Indian chances 80 and SL 20

After Zabardast says go SL go tomorrow Indian chances 100 and SL 0
