he wouldn't have been dropped in that case considering he looks a lot more comfortable out in the middle as compared to Butt, considering the fact that Butt is all at sea more recently, regardless of who is bowling!

Woolmer keeps mentioning 4 seamers, and since Kaneria won't be dropped it means that one of the batsman will have to sit out. I think we are in for another surprise opening partership, probably Afridi to go up the order so we can accomodate the extra bowler.

the other 2 players i realy don't care. In fact i realy don't care who plays ..
The only thing i care about is that Afridi should play because he has been bowling better than Kaneria and he sure offers more with the bat. Play Kaneria and loose. Why do u guys rate him so highly? he has sucked for a while now, and hes not consistent. Afridi is a better spinner, he was a spinner as a junior and hes better than Kaneria. Play Afridi and he can be the spinner!!

As if Kaneria and Afridi, Kaneria our ace spinner in particular has set the English batting lineup on fire…Eng has two left handers, against whom our bowling has largely being unaffective, Cook has scored two centuries and Strauss has one…an off spinner would be more effective against these two then a legspinner…

Yes off spinner may be effective - but depends who the off spinner is. Does Arshad Khan really have a ability to do that at this level especially in tests. He may have beeb useful on odd occasions in the ODI's but don't think he is good enough for tests.

I would be very surprised if Younis comes to open, and I would be least surprise if Afridi is pushed up back to open ( knowing woolmer and his love for the opener who can bowl too, forget batting). Pakistan need 4 bowlers, 1 all-rounder, 5 batsmem (not wanna be) and our keeper (who's first job is to keep wicket). Kami should play at No.7 spot no matter what.
Oh by the way which team use to shortlist their player out of their squad? was it australia who use to announce team will be from the 12/13 players?

No need for any more behas. In 13 hours from now I will tell you the definite lineup. :)
But you will have to be quick to read it because if Butt is opening he might be back in the pavilion before you even read the lineup.
