None of them are made by our generation and we are the only one who dread world war, it is true, the action of previous generation becomes burden on the next, whatever we do in this life it goes till eternity:)
Well if our generatio nwas so good then we would have destroyed these weapons & would have been better nations.
We have been in a constant war zone kinda situation for the last 10 yrs or so.
We are in no way better than the previous generations.

Our generation is in age group of 20-40 is not even at the rank of brigadier general, our generation is just supporter of Imran khan and Anna Hazare:D
Waleed, whether we accept it or not, these songs become part of our society. I can't deny this because I've have heard my 2 years old cousin repeating ' Munni Badnaam, Munni Badnaam'. Ican't deny it to be part of our lives, when our Public transport play Naseebo Laal's ' Pyar di Ganderi' :)
these songs are made keeping in mind about the culture of eastern UP, there are bhojpuri films with such songs and singers like Rampat ******:D, but still women are safe in this region that english loving Delhi/NCR:(,

When was the last time when world wasn't falling apart?? Now you can say this statement either as cynic or realistic:), Our generation is nearly 5-10 years away from holding anything important in public office, Thacrey and Hafiz saeed are not from our generation:)

LP its not just about music beats. I'm talking about the lyrics. Few people says that in old days, quality of lyrics was good because famous poets like Kaifi Azmi, Sahir Ludhyanvi, Ahmed Faraz, Qateel Shifai were writing lyrics. These were the people who kept lyrics as per the society's norms.

All i’m saying is that, you don’t like the lyrics ,others like it.
People write stuff which is accepted by the society 'cuz if they write other stuff then ppl wont accept it & no money/fame.
Quality is “fit for purpose”. These lyrics do appeal to the masses and that is why we have even included them in our weddings.If they were looked down upon they wouldnt have been in our marriages.
PS: No, By no means am I saying that I consider it correct ,all I’m saying is that what isnt accepted by you is accepted by a 100 others.

She meant that our generation is still untested as it does not possess the posts which are behind the wars and all that
That was my basic question how the society which consider listening to songs a taboo just 50 years ago, not only accepted it but accepted the content which is against the basic norms of the society. Does that mean music is being used as sugar for coating the unwanted lyrics?
