i said better. uk pakistanis have it horrible [rightfully so] but north americans have it better. in all my years in canada/america i have yet to be called a paki. in the month ive been in the uk ive had people say paki more times than they said hi. if you deny pakistanis are considered british scum then you're just living in a cave.
Hskhan, you have a wrong conception of the "paki" word. We ourselves are to be held responsible for the Brits labelling us as paki's. Look at those nicks at GS as for some proof. Every Pakistani defines him/herself as a "Paki" so why are you so surprised being named "Paki" in UK then?
However, I believe Brits have adopted and accommodated themselves to the Pakistani crew better than majority Americans. Let me exclude Canada for once. I also think that coarse word (paki) is very common in Canada too.
