I just got engaged to this wonderful, amazing, sweet, guy.
We knew each other from school for 4-5 years now.
I’ve dreamt of being with him forever.
But I just found out something and ti’s bothering me.
He has curly hair. All the times i saw him he had straight, styled hair.
Now i realize it’s curly…and i feel like he lied to me and betrayed me.
Now I don’t trust him b/c if he can hide the natural state of his hair from me..he can hide anything else right?
He’s a very nice guy, educated, religious, dresses nicely, and treats me well, oh I forgot to mention, I am a rocket scientist but he wotn let me work..saying that i can study rocks at home. I tried explaining to him that i’m a rocket scientist..ntot a rock scientist, but he wont listen
So he likes his hair straight -- what's the big deal? We didn't really know how curly my brother's hair was until he grew it out in college. My college roommate's mom had been straightening my friend's hair since she was 3! So her friends who she grew up with didn't realize the hair was curly! It wasn't until she was away from her mom in college that she let it grow out curly and we told her it looked gorgeous that way! Some people have real complexes about curly hair, that it is unattractive and messy. And many people don't know how to style or care for it.
i have been with my fiance for 4 years and he has never seen me without eyeliner and is always asking me what type of hair i have... my answer ... u ll find out when its time :) ...we always joke abt it. nothing to worry abt
no reason not to lose sleep over it...believe me there are WAY bigger issues out there.

But I have curly hair and he has curly hair, so our kids will have curly hair and it will just be so..ugly!
hey this guy's obviously uncomfortable with his hair which is why he straightens it.....the question is do you like his curly hair???
and believe me life's gonna throw more at you than curly/straight hair...its a bumpy ride be prepared, and don't fall over at this little pot hole

More so he wants me to stay home and cook rotis and have his kids, i mean, i'm a rocket scientist, i have a 4.0 GPA, i spent so much money on my degree to press atta? no way I am much too smart and beautiful to do all that.
