Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah
Ages ago, i came across an article online, and this scholar, Luxenberg (his pseudonym) believes that hoor is actually not an Arabic word; it's a Syro-Aramaic word. If that is the case, then hoor does not mean "virgin of paradise" at all......it means white raisins or fruits.
Enjoy your fruit boys.
You just shattered so many dreams!
I hope you have something for the to-be slave owners as well. We have people planning on owning hot guys in heavens ![]()

I heard of someone making that claim too and if I remember correctly, the guy who said it wasn't even Muslim. I'd take the word of an aalim over some non-Muslim in any matter related to aakhirah.
oooooooooooooooooooo i’ve heard tha tone too ![]()

OMG…I cannot believe this thread is over 4 pages long!
Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah
^ 2 pages for me :@:
A Taliban husband was planning to blow himself up so he could go to Heaven and get the promised 80 virgin Houris.
The couple made a deal that after he died he would try to communicate with his wife and inform her of how his afterlife was going.
Their biggest fear was that either there was no after life at all or he may not be able to communicate after loosing his head that would be under control of the DNA Lab of the Pakistani Police.
After a lot of prayers and preparations the fellow went on his blowing mission. True to his word, he made the contact:
"Gulab Bibi... Gulab Bibi!!!" came a faint voice from the sky.
"Is that you, Khush'hal Khan?"
"Yes, I've come back like we agreed."
"That's wonderful! What's it like... life after death over there?"
"Well, I get up in the morning, I have sex. I then have breakfast and then it's off to the golf course and there I have sex under the trees.
I come home and have sex again, bathe in the warm sun and then have sex a couple of more times.
Then I have lunch and drink plenty of juices and water. Another evening round the 18 hole golf course, then pretty much have sex the rest of the afternoon.
After supper, it's back to the bedroom again. Then it's more sex until late at night. I catch some much needed sleep and then the next day it starts all over again!!!"
"Oh, Khush'hal Khan are you in Heaven with all those 80 Houris? Oh, what will happen to me... will I get to meet you again??"
"No!!!" Said Khush'hal Khan... ... ... I did get the promised 80 virgins but, I'm reborn as a rabbit in the Rawalpindi Golf Course!!!"
hilarious!!!
Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah

Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah
^ perhaps in your eyes. you cant just open a thread and disappear.
but here we’ve reached a conclusion: Men who go to Jannah will get 72 raisins that are as delicate as the skin under an eg’s shell ![]()
"If any do deeds of righteousness, be they male or female, and have faith, they will enter Jannah, and not the least injustice will be done to them." (Surah an-Nisa:124)
so there must be something for us aswell ;)
“Therein you shall have (all) that your inner‑selves desire
[Fussilat 41:31-32]
Then why worry? :)
“And round about them will (serve) boys of everlasting youth. If you see them, you would think them scattered pearls”
[al-Insaan 76:19]
“And We shall remove from their breasts any (mutual) hatred or sense of injury (which they had, if at all, in the life of this world); rivers flowing under them, and they will say: ‘All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has guided us to this, and never could we have found guidance, were it not that Allaah had guided us! Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth.’ And it will be cried out to them: ‘This is the Paradise which you have inherited for what you used to do’”
[al-A’raaf 7:43]
there wont be any jealousy...so we wont care :D
Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah
ooooo we will be 60 cubits tall :0
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Allaah created Adam in his form, sixty cubits tall… and everyone who enters Paradise will be in the form of Adam, sixty cubits tall…"
*Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5873; Muslim, 7092 *
"Allaah, Subhaanahu wa ta'aala, created Aadam in his own image, sixty cubits tall... everyone who enters Paradise will be in the image of Aadam, sixty cubits tall. People kept getting shorter and shorter after the time of Aadam." Saheeh Muslim, Kitaab al-Jannah, Baab Yadkhul al-Jannah Aqwam Af'idatuhum mithl af'idatah at-Tayr 4:2183, no. 2841
Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi report from Mu'aadh ibn Jabal that the Messenger of Allaah (saw) said, "**The people of Paradise will enter Paradise hairless, looking as if their eyes are ringed with kohl, aged thirty three." **Saheeh al-Jaami' 6/337, no. 7928

According to classical Arabic usage in the time when the Qur’an was recited by Muhammad (PBUH) ,Hur’in is made of two words Hur as well as In. The word ‘Hur’ is the plural of both Ahwar (Masculine) and Hawra (Feminine) which literally translates as “white-eyed”, … And as for the phrase, “In it is the plural of both ‘Ayan’ (Masculine) and ‘Ainao’ (Feminine)”, it was also used to refer to the beautiful eyes of the wild-cow whose eyes are blond. In general, this word implies ‘most beautiful eye’ irrespective of the person’s gender. Thus, it seems that the most appropriate English rendering of the compound word Hur’In might be: “Companions pure, most beautiful of eye.” and it is applicable to both male and female.

Re: Feminists and hoors of jannah
*Definition of Houris (also called: hoor al-Ayn/hur ul-Ayn/hoors/hurs) from Nobel Quran:
**“Very fair females created by Allah as such not from the off-spring of Adam, with intense black irises of their eyes and intense white scleras”. **Nobel Quran; Glossary; Houris]
The Houris (hoors/hoor al-Ayn) have variously been described as being “chaste females”, “restraining their glances”, “modest gaze”, “wide and beautiful/lovely eyes”, “untouched / with hymen unbroken by sexual intercourse”, “like pearls”, “virgins”, “voluptuous/full-breasted”, “with large, “non-menstruating/urinating/defecating and childfree”, round breasts which are not inclined to hang”, “companions of equal age”, “transparent to the marrow of their bones”, “eternally young”, “hairless” , “pure”, “beautiful”, “white”, “revirginating”, “splendid beauty”.
Now you can read some verses of the Holy Quran mentioning the attributes of Houris (Hoor al-ayn/Hurs):
***“And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes; (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved.” [Sura As-Sâffât (37):40-48]
“And beside them will be chaste females (virgins) restraining their glances only for their husbands, (and) of equal ages.” [Sura Sâd (38):52]
“So (it will be), and We shall marry them to Houris (female fair ones) with wide, lovely eyes.” [Sura Ad-Dukhân (44):51-55]
“They will recline (with ease) on thrones arranged in ranks. And We shall marry them to Houris (female, fair ones) with wide lovely eyes.” [Sura At-Tûr (52):20]
“Wherein both (gardens) will be those (maidens) restraining their glances upon their husbands, whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? (In beauty) they are like rubies and coral.” [Sura Ar-Rahmân (55):56-58]
“Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; …Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; …Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them.” [Sura Ar-Rahmân (55):70,72,74]
“And (there will be) Houris (fair females) with wide, lovely eyes (as wives for the pious), Like unto preserved pearls.” [Sura Al-Wâqi’ah (56):22-23]
Verily, We have created them (maidens) of special creation. And made them virgins; Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. [Sura Al-Wâqi’ah (56):37-40]
And young full-breasted (mature) maidens of equal age; [Sura An-Naba’ (78):33]**
case closed by Allah. don’t need some kuffar to translate the quran for us now do we :chai:
