Afridi, both of you are going off topic and no, you started it with post #41 (been removed along with subsequent posts). I would appreciate it if you would stay on topic. If you want to discuss western women as role models, start a new therad. Now don't be upset about your posts being deleted.

Afridi, you were diverting if not flaming. Feel free to post it again but actually say something about the topic this time, i.e. your reasoning behind the post. If you are just going to flame for kicks, then I'm sorry, I will remove it as it will spiral into something else (as it did with the subsequent posts I deleted). However, if you actually want to debate the topic at hand, then by all means go ahead. :)

I dont think he was going off topic. He implied he didnt haev any and I said thats why he turned out messed up.

My Mother is my role model based on her accomplishments.
She came to the U.S. after getting married. Taught at a high school for six years, had three children and went to medical school and is a doctor now.
And, she did all of this while raising a family and dealing with my father who still believes women shouldn't work.
And yes, before anyone asks, my dad is more than happy with his life with her. She taught him that compromise doesn't mean that it is always the woman who gives in.
She's not perfect by any means. But, she rocks in my book.

A woman who had a child with her boyfriend (very good role model, all women shud do the same, they will be good muslims if they do), and she wants to cleanse Islam, lol maybe to westernise it.
Anyway women can't be imams, they can't lead prayers, and that to men and female together, they can't give public lectures to crowd with guys and girls unless they do it in one tone.
Don't kid yourselves, they r going against what Muhammad PBUH taught, I'm sure some ladies in here are aware of what I have just said also. I'm all for womens rights just not when it goes against Islam.

i think we need some butt kickers in the police. i especially admire women that serve in the police in the USA....working shoulder to shoulder with the men....whereas in pakistan they work with women as a separate entity.
well as my finance teacher said, everyone on top make some stock frauds, all the time, but you can get caught only if someone tells it to some police/fiscal administration :D

My role model would be any woman that lives her life sincerely, without doing things just to prove a point to the world but doing it cos she believes in it herself. Who is compassionate, and at the end of the day who is happy - whether she is a housewife, supermodel or an astronaut.
The famous ones aside - there are such women around us who are never heard of but leave brilliant lives. Asian women have great spirit and endurance, such women are deeply loved as well. But the kind Im talking about could be anyone anywhere.
