Batool (Fatimah:razi2: ) is the sole product of the crop of submission (to the will and pleasure of Allah) -
The ideal of guidance towards the perfection of all mothers is Batool:razi2:.
of all the ladies that you have mentioned.....how many of them have you actually investigated to a decent degree?
it is natural to hear about someone's good deeds and look up to them....but I've come across too many that have let me down when examined under a microscope to let myself be swayed by what I hear and read.
don't get me wrong.....I'm not questioning your choices or their reputations......just asking for details on what made you decide to look up to these women......
and in answer to your question:
My most respected role model is and always will be my mother.
I witnessed her strength in the face of adversity.
I was there when she took on suffering in order to help others....and I don't mean her own family.
I saw her work harder than I probably ever could to benefit everyone else but herself.
I watched her illness take away her body.....but never her mind or spirit.
She is my hero and if I can live my life to any degree like she did, I will have accomplished much more than I believe myself capable of.
muzna : i gave brief reasons behind my choices...mothers are role models for all daughters. mine is my role model to a certain extent...my grandmother is more of a role model since i spent more time with her.
im naming these women since many people will be able to relate to them due to their contributions to society. i dont know what their private lives were like but there IS more than enough evidence to show they arent your regular britney spears trying to get people to trust whatever the president says.
well mukhtaran i've read up on and met. and although alot of people say she's been used by the NGO's i still believe it takes guts on her part and the main thing that matters is results right?....results have shown in her village with the destruction of the unfair panchayat system and the building of a school for girls.
Every other desi women does something similar. Its part of us i guess women are taught to scrafice their dreams, desires, wishes etc for their family and they gladly do it. Its a desi thing when a woman is willing to give her food to a needy person. Its part of our culture. No not every single woman fits in this category either.
but as far as when it comes to talking about mother.
I will be the first one to say what my ami ji has done over past few years. No other woman can show that amount of courage, strength, love, loyalty, care etc.
She is the single most amazing woman in the whole of the widest world and I love her all the way to the moon and back! Obviously I love me mam the same way.
Khudanakwasta again khudanawasta… if this were to happen to your sister or your daughter… i wonder if your response would have been the same!!
I honestly think one should seriously put themselves in place of other before saying anything.
She became a toy which numerous men played over and over in one night. You expect her to sit back and take everything as it was part of her takdeer?
She did the right thing by letting people know whats going on. Its sad and pathetic that people back home could be so cruel and can destory someone’s soul.
