Female Participation in KK

We cricket freaks always welcome a bit of color at KK. When i first joined gupshup, there were one or two active females participants but they gradually disappeared. ‘Nakhrey Wali’ was quite a contributor. Then we had ‘karina’ of course. 'Sobi has disappeared since England started doing well in cricket. She was always there to defend whenever they had their behinds kicked. ‘Tanhayan’ has started participating again, she did a great job with a dead pak-bd match in asia cup :-D. Sadiyah and ameena are two welcoem additions in regular posters. Irem, ayman also pop up with odd posts. Pak-Ind series saw a rush of female posters. I might be missing a name or two but the point is : ladies, we need more colorful participations.

How could one forget pp007, the big Afridi fan :smack2:

p.s Of course we’ve always had F&B.

yeah definately. You are one of the most prominent and enthused ones. Infact I just got up when i posted this thread so missed two prominent ones and couple of new ones like blushing vision etc. You and pp007 were amongst the missing ones.

Nahi yaar, England’s world class cricket speak for itself, and my team don’t need me to defend them anymore. I’ve always known they were one of the best teams in the world, but you guys never listened. Since they’ve started performing well, you guys don’t make your snide comments anymore and so I don’t feel the need to come in and defend them.

I do try to participate when the big matches are on though - usually when my family kicks me out the telly room for bringing pakistan bad luck :bummer:

Well they were not as good as they are now. But your job is not just defending but praising.

Did you watch the match b/w pak and WI? I am sure your family was right then :-p

Hahaha, no I was in the hospital at the time, and had to keep checking the score on my phone every 5 mins. My mum refused to believe me when I gave her Pakistan's total. She kept saying 'manhoos galaN na kar' until my uncle came and confirmed it :D

"Nakhrey Waley" was my favorite. She was well-informed but extremely jingoistic about Pak.
I think she disappeared some time during the India-Pak series. She couldn't take it anymore I guess.

..or it may be that she changed her nick to "armughal".

F&B-- welcome welcome.

Nescio-- KK 2 was colorful during Euro 2004. uss ke baad it is almost non-existent.

Some1-- Yes Nakhre wali was a good poster indeed but I believe she disappeared during WC 2003. Not during Indo-Pak series.
