Re: Female Pakistani students in UK.
Not all - Indeed those are , who come to good universities with the tuition fee paid in advance and their families back home send a hefty cheque every month for their food and lodging expenses
You will hardly see them even working for 20 hours student jobs …
Now comes the upper middle class - who come with half of fee paid / with some amount in hand , and intend to cover the rest of expenses while working after studies hours …
Then middle and lower middle class students - who just want to get out of the country and gain a legal entry in any western countries .. for which student visa is still the cheapest option .. Later they try to convert it into a work visa / resident permit mostly by marrying the locals … As they are mostly on HND programs and certification courses so their fee is much lesser then degree courses ..
But the international students I know had to prove that they had enough money to pay fee and live comfortably, they had to declare bank statements and assets and everything. How do the less well off dodge that? :S
