its not Islamic and people rgoing after weak information and giving others fuel to talk bad about islam. No one that I know practices this disgusting ritual. Pleasure is right for men and women equally in Islam.
Islam is a natural religeon and I have not gound unnatural, illogical and injust related to Islam.

i wasnt mixing it up with islam…somebody else stated a hadith by abu huraira saying that it is valid in islam…
and just because you havent met anyone who does it does not mean it doesnt happen. FGM is a hot topic in the United States that the critics of islam use to bash muslims around the world for a ritual practiced by a some muslims…a while ago there was a woman who came to the US, she was running from an african tribe and did not want to be mutilated…i dont know the details of the case…but it stirred quite a controversy.
i think rather than stress on how great a religion islam is we need to stop turning away from actual issues that take place in the world. female genital mutilation sounds sick…but its true…

And If you believe according to your knowledge, that thing being said is not right, then have an investigation before one start saying Crap crap Crap ( like you saw on first page)…even if this is so called crap, you NOT allowed to miss behave, … talk in some sensible way and leave the room for other person to reply you… I have quoted them from authentic books of fiqah and hadees… if it is wrong then fine, convince me that I am wrong, give me proof that you r right …show me your intelligence and knowledge of Islam, show me the references…prove me that you are a greater scholar and the guy who compiled those hadees which I gave the reference; are crap… but in ways with manner, …if I am wrong then so what… correct me, this is your responsibility to correct me, provide evidence… prove me that those scholars are wrong …
But with a little knowledge without visiting any Hadees book, and ignoring the given references, and putting label that this is not an authentic hadees jus shows the mental level of one … this is not the way of discussion… Kaleem,
