** Dear Fellow Members**
**Tuesday, 14 August 2007 **approaches fast.
We all know this 14 August marks
60 years of our beloved Pakistan.
Ironically, or let’s call it God Almighty’s way of testing his beloved, our nation has faced some of the most socially and politically turbulent times in recent months. Turbulent times however are the times where our nation has known to re-unite; rediscover nationalism, patriotism and brotherhood. We hope and pray this turbulence would ease out soon and once again, Pakistan and its proud citizens would emerge re-vitalized.
Pakistan was created through great sacrifice, struggle and determination; however the major driving force was the unity of purpose, faith in the effort and objective as well as the Almighty and sheer discipline in struggle among the leadership and the masses. Such is the recipe for hard earned yet well deserved and sure victory.
The social and human sacrifice offered in the fight for Freedom and Independence is the foundation of our very existence. Struggle and perseverance at all levels is the essence of a Great Nation with a proud history of achieving success against great odds. The Pakistani nation consolidates rich traditions, legacies and achievements in all walks of life through the centuries. We have every right rather an obligation to be proud of our heritage, our existence and our background. We have a duty to respect ourselves and our identity, we must find honour in our proud presence on the World Map by Allah’s Grace.
Storms may come and they may go, but Pakistan is here to stay, and so is our identity, which must be preserved and be a source of pride. Today more than ever and more than anything we need the not-so-bitter pill prescribed by our Founding Father Quaid-e-Azam M. A. Jinnah very early on;
Faith, Unity, Discipline

Even a slight unadulterated dose would undoubtedly work wonders.
In recent times global as well as Pakistan’s internal affairs & politics are greatly influenced by the menace of extremism and terrorism, worst kind of which are in the name of religion. Pakistan was not created for any such purpose. Pakistan’s founding father and his associates had no such inclinations. Pakistan does not promote any such destructive and naïve notions. Pakistanis today are, and should be united against such threats and God-Willing, we will be able to overcome this menace.
Pakistan’s other problems are of internal political nature caused due to instability and indiscipline at all social levels. We must unite against hypocrisy and indiscipline at all levels and fight for what’s right against what’s wrong with zeal and faith, unity and discipline. One day, we shall achieve what’s supposed to be our rightful stature in politics, governance, economy as well as other key areas reflecting upon a nation’s condition.
May we be able to carry the Pakistan Flag Higher and Higher and make our own resolutions to play our parts as best possible.
A very Happy 60th Independence Day & Azadi Mubarak!
Pakistan Zindabad!
