After learning MM will no longer be a Mod, had to open this thread to appreciate her contributions. She was a bubbly mod, full of energy and enthusiasm. She was inclusive, opening up events to last minute entrants. She conducted several events, all on schedule, which is way more difficult than it sounds. And she humored bad jokes - always a good quality to have.

The turnout at her events - based on post- event comments, was awesome.

MM, this poster will miss your presence.

and, so will i! :( MM, why did you have to resign? you could stay on until it was time to go on your trip.

Southie, you are right, she was absolutely a great mod in chatroom. i can say with suthority because she always smilingly tolerated my presence in the CR!!! :D

we'll ALL miss you, MM! :( have a great time wherever you are and wherever you go and whatever you do. thanks for being nice to us ALL! :)

Thank you for the kind words guys, I can't thank MM enough for her contributions to the chat forum. I tried to bully her into staying but hey real life priorities always come before GS. Later on in the year, she may have enough time for GS again so we'll get to see more of her then InshaAllah. And I'm sure she'd love to come back knowing how much everyone appreciates her.

Thank you so much for putting up with me! I had a blast hosting the events and bringing some life back to chat. As far as bad jokes… I don’t remember any :whistling: All punch lines were ‘on time’! Haha

I had to resign for a few reasons & without sharing too much detail, i’ll try my besy to explain..

I have a few things in my personal life, off of GS, that need my full attention. So for me to ignore and not be able to do what is expected of me as a Mod and continue to carry the title would be unfair to the rest of the staff and members.
Another reason, as silly as it may seem, GS was spilling into my life off of GS, which is not something I am comfortable with. So I’m putting my self through a self “detox” lol. Nothing serious, I promise.

Yes I do have to travel, but that isn’t for another few months. The only reason traveling was even mentioned is because I can’t even take a break and return to “full duty” after a couple months, since I’ll be traveling for at least 6 months.

I will say, I did have a blast hosting the few events I did and doing what ever I could to bring life to Chat and some random threads in All Views! And hopefully, when things calm down, i’A I would love to continue. But until then, I’ll continue to be a poster on here and a visitor of chat!

So again, thanks everyone. And I saw NomiCA opened a thread which I can’t reply in, so thank you, as well, Nomi. :sid:

She was indeed, thanks queer. But she is also away from GS for now due to some reasons that I won't be disclosing here.
