Btw, the people who judge others by the amount of food they take at buffets, are people who actually want to take more food too, but they are scared to be judged too....
As a sidenote, I think we would only care about being judged if we have some sort of insecurity. Like for me, I would acutally put less food in my plate if I feel like someones looking, because I am a little self-conscious about my weight. But if someone was to judge me by my fashion sense, I wouldn’t care, because I’m confident in what I wear.
^And those examples are only with strangers. I don’t really care if friends call me out for being a moti for putting too much food .
It's true only those judge who have some sort of insecurity. But than there is the idea of letting someone else's judgment bother you. You would only let someone else's judgment bother you IF you are insecure (about something specific).

It isnt a matter of "would I let it bother me" but rather it would bother me regardless of how hard I try not to. Anyone who says otherwise is denying or have attained some sort of sainthood (aka hum main say nahi....jk)

It’s hard for me say I would take a strangers judgment seriously if i’m not already self-conscious about it. And I’m no saint lol. I’ll have to think it over some more.

I think that holds true if that judgement is about your physical appearance or other personal matters, but really, if anyone will judge me for the cloths I am waering or the language I am speaking I wont care at all.

Any negative assessment would bother a person, whether consciously or subconsciously. The only thing that differs among people is how long they dwell on it.
