Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

I have a fear of Ghosty judging me for liking too many posts :bummer:

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

:smack: Khatti jee, I judge you for being a Cowboys fan not for your “likes” :hehe:

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

He only said that because he wants a “like,” Khatti.

Tsk, tsk. You’re that transparent, Ghostie. :frowning:

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

I don’t think people pay much attention to others to judge them. Its all in our head that we are so special and people are looking at us. In reality, no one really cares and people who do have such faltoo time are often losers themselves.
Like in a mall, do you go about your own business or look at people and judge them?

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

Who gave you my play book? :grumpy:

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

I rather care more about being judged by ppl who know me rather than complete strangers.

:zobo:

And I refuse to indulge him… :snooty:

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

Judge me all you want but I WILL go for a second serving because that’s my guestly (I think I just made up another word) right.

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

The older I get, the less I care about what strangers and family friends/relos think, and the more comfortable I feel with myself. I got into an accident a year ago and got a chemical peel this week as part of the treatment....which causes some strong and very obvious skin flaking...but it's temporary. I didn't care how I looked......didn't bother with putting on makeup.....I wanted my caramel milk tea that bad and went out during daylight gasp to get it, LOL. Even last year...when I had stitches on the side of my face from the accident, I didn't really care what strangers thought...I just wanted to get out of the house. I thought it would be vain to get all worked up over such a temporary and minor injury when there are people with serious disabilities/physical issues who go about their usual activities. So, that's the example that came to mind. And another thought just occurred to me....sometimes strangers are more polite about things than those that you know....the latter (relos/family friends) can at times be tactless...when you'd expect better from them.

Re: Fear of Being Judged by Strangers

why get worked up over being judged by somehow who you will most likely never see again?? Having said that, im the type of person who strikes up a convo with randomers at the store, petrol pump etc etc. But still wouldnt bother what they thought of me. Sidenote, during high school i started a convo with a guy at starbucks and chatted to him for a good twenty minutes and at the end he asked me if i wanted a job cuz he had just interviewed me. Lol
