Fazail-e-Amal

How authentic is this book?

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Is this the same book which is available online here?

Used by Tablighi Jamaat, I believe. Never read it myself.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Assalam o Alaikum

Fazail e Aamal was written by Moulana Zakariyya Kandhalvi who was Shaikh ul hadees Darul uloom Saharnour india and was considerd one of the most famous muhaditheen of his time.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

catty, different people have different views. I don't find it authentic at all. It contains many weak and fabricated ahadith. And no, I do not have the time to skim through it to pick'em out. I'm sure someone else here can do the job, insha'Allah.

It's one book that I stay away from.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

:bash: And you didn’t bring this point up in my fabricated hadith wala thread?

Can you please post the hadith that you find fabricated? If you have any spare time, thanks.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

its a gud book, its says you about the importance of all the amals like namaz ad fasting etc.....

its a mixture of all the hadiths from bukhari/ahmed/nasai etc.....

all in all a gud book to foolw!!

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

can it be possible that one believes in and at the same time DONT believe in.

GOD FORBIDDEN i dont want to say anythin wrong .. but i sometime just dont agree to some ahadiths, i wonder if only the fact that there are BILLIONs of ahadiths out there is rite :( .. i donno .. i m confused inside me .. can anyone help ?

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

see dear

there are sometimes some hadiths which our mind cannot accept due to the fact tht we havent experienced it with our selves, like

when ibrahim(AS) was sent into fir the fire became cool,

now on this point some people may not accept coz they never saw it in teir life,
but miracles do happen with prophets and other holy muttaki mens and womens!

hence we must not dis agree on any hadiths,

but if u dont want to accept it plzz dont reject it also,
coz if it will be true u will get the sin of rejecting itlike the non beluievers and munafaks
its better to say that a" ALLAH KNOWS THE BEST"!.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

IBN bhai: how many total hadiths are out there ? and if all of them are true then how come they contradicts each other?

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

see now evry one hastheir own opinions and their proofs,

u wills e that some hadiths of faizal-e-amal are may be very old and weak but if u trace them with other books u may find that in some books the same hadith isthere but also mentioned in very weak way!!,

hence on this issue u cannot contradict the point on hadiths,

thats y i always say that " allah knows the best"!

see now in asia peopel belive in shab-e-baaraat!,

but many arabs dont, they say that the hadith about shab-e-barrat is very weak and zayeef,

but

when u see the the practises going on shab-e-baart its nothing bad but only gud, u get sawab if u pray tahajuud in that night and some peopel keep fasting also, hence its just gud only to follow that zayeef hadith, nothing bad in that.

hence if u follow those hadith there is nothing bad only gud!!.

and if ur heat says that u must not follow justsaythat ALLAH KNOWS THE BEST!!

dont rejecet.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

aight so u mean .. new hadiths present old hadiths in better shape ? or they both got their own signifincance ?

and i heard prophet MOHAMMAD knew the condition of his ppl .. then y wud he leave it so confusing ? like for instance .. NECESSORY CLOTHING FOR OFFERING NAMAZ .. there are soo many hadiths abt it .. how wud u know which one to follow ?

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Not very...

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

among all the hadith there will be many things common,

like for namaaz u haveto wear clean clothes and whichmust e bought buy halal money and if it is on sunnah way then its more ajar for you,

if u read all the hadiths its better to read the one and follow it.

see dear freind,

evry hadith has tafseer behind it,
hence all the hadiths are n different ocassion,

so thats y tehere are soooo manyof hadiths .
try to read the hadith with it tafseer.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

have read the below claim of tawbah on a number of sites… here’s one

The Largest Publisher of the Fazaail-e-Amaal (Tableeghi Nisaab) makes Tawbah

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Are you guys serious :( and here I thought I had ventured upon a treasure. So what makes it un-authentic? Do the authors make things up? It's a very popular book I believe.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Now that’s an eye-opener! thanks hey. But I just cant seem to grasp why people would make up stories and publish these books on such a large scale and convince the average Muslim that they are accurate historical accounts.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

cat-woman, because some believe that somehow the weak and fabricated ahadith may be accurate/true and because the weak and fabricated ahadith still help lure many towards Islam, so they use it. <<< This is more or less what I understood from a few conversations that I've had with a classmate who uses Fazail-e-Amal.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

HAHAHAHA..how much ignorant and unpractical mummy daddy guys u r who dont come out of their homes...lol....tableeghi jamat is the biggest muslim organisation in the world and they r responsible for making thousands of muslims as reas muslims.....they r spreading quickly...not body gives damn to ur guys propoganda..sadiyah...who eva u r..u need to grow up.....ur ahle hadith mosques r also their strong places..and i know myself plenty of wahabies and salafies involving with tableeghi guys.....
and abt taubah,lol....its a pure joke..this book has been sold in millions and still selling hot...so keep on doing propoganda....

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

That is just anti-Deo Bandi rhetoric by Muslims belonging Ahl-e-Hadith or Wahabi school of thought.

Re: Fazail-e-Amal

Once a Tableeghi cousin of mine gave me a copy, never read it properly but now that you brought it up I’ll have a look tonight.

I don’t like the idea of blind following any Mullah Molvi, sect or book except the Qur’aan and Sunnah; we should judge everything in the light of these two.

I don’t associate myself with any sect or denomination, I’m a Muslim plain and simple but I take the good things from wherever and reject the bad, I listen to Ahle Hadeeth/Salafi (also known as ‘Wahhabi’) scholars, Barelvi scholars like Tahir ul-Qaadri, Deobandi (also known as ‘Wahhabi’) scholars such as Dr. Israr Ahmad but I don’t completely adhere to everything they’ve got to say like a mindless robot. There is no heirachy in Islam, as long as we don’t follow our whims and bend Islam to suit them we’ll be right.. Should be sincere to Allah :swt: and only Allah :swt:, everything and everyone else is of secondary importance.
