Look, if Fawad was so important, they could have fulfilled his wish but instead of Badar Khalil they should have moved someone else not as important. Fawad didn’t attack Badar ji personally. If it was anyone else sitting beside Sultana, he would’ve done the same, no? True, he should have had more sense, but why is the entire blame being putting on him and not the others who were equally wrong? And considering Badar Khalil’s history with Sultana S. and how senior Sultana is, shouldn’t she have handled the situation more maturely instead of complying with the request like she has no say in the matter?

Nobody noticed while criticizing fawad that sultana siddiqui preferred to sit with fawad khan rather than Badar khalil and she was not a kid who could be blackmailed.She willingly sat with FK and didn’t care if a senior artist like herself is leaving the awards show.

I respect Badar Khalil a lot. The way she carried her carrier after Shahzad Khalil’s death and brought up her children and faced difficulties in her life is praiseworthy. Shahzad Khalil is the one who introduced not only many artist to the industry but also a new way to programming. His widow doesn’t deserve such attitude. I also condemn Sultana Siddiqui, but when it comes to money making manners are not followed. She meant business, but What if Fawwad saheb be seated on his seat, cameras might have covered his thobRa. But he chose to be unethical and played game.

No need to argue further because FK is the real culprit or bus

What Fawad Khan did was rude. It was a faux-pas in etiquette, no doubt. But does it warrant or deserve 'hatred' from the readers? I don't think so; I think that's an extreme reaction. Annoyance, sure. But hatred, no. I have enjoyed watching him in dramas, but I'm not an obsessive or die-hard or even huge fan of his let alone any other actor, Desi or otherwise. Often at large-scale functions such as weddings, you'll see that the person you are chit-chatting/sitting with will move across the room to sit with another friend of theirs. Or a person will beckon your friend from a distance to come join them and your friend walks over, etc etc. ***Now if there was already an existing tension between Badar Khalil and Fawad Khan and and he removed Sultana Siddiqui from her with the deliberate intention to insult and ostracize Badar Khalil.........then I could understand the incensed reactions, however there is nothing in the article that indicates a deliberate, malicious scheming.

If there is truth in the disparity in treatment that Badar Khalil and other senior/veteran actors are receiving, it's disturbing and fortunate. The work ethics (punctuality, honesty, humility, etc) that Badar Khalil had adhered to for decades is very admirable . However, at the same time, I don't think it's right to attack other actors or bestow 'backhanded' compliments on them. For instance, if Samina Peerzada homed her acting skills over time with exposure to a variety of roles, there's nothing unusual in that. The same can be said for any profession. Even one who is naturally gifted will improve with time, provided they put in a dedicated effort. An a tress of her calibre shouldn't do this. Back-handed compliments are not cool. The actors that she has criticized might be annoyed with her and as a result turn other actors against her, so that perpetuates a cycle of petty, vicious behavior. I'm not defending the younger actors, nor am I attacking Badar Khalil. There are always 2 sides to a story and more than one way to look at this article.

It was a praising comment and not something negative. Samina was there in 'Nisf Sadi ka qissa' and her husband Usman Peerzada and Qawi Khan gave similar comments on her face and she appreciated it.

I am not 'defending' people I like. I have acknowledged that what Fawad Khan did was rude, I don't know the guy and I am no die-hard fan of any actor. I have not seen Fk's behavior in award shows, nor do I go looking for articles or interviews on him. However, if you and other members HAVE read several of his interviews and have watched several of his award appearances to where you guys have noticed a consistent pattern of rudeness/obnoxiousness from him.....then I can understand the strong reaction toward him right now as this article is only an addition to his other antics. But if you're only going by this particular article, then I think that the reaction is too strong. A backhanded compliment is one where pehlay you put-down and then you raise-up. In general, they are not looked upon favorably by celebrities and plebeians alike. If you read my former response again, you'll find that I have not praised FK....however, I did praise Badar Khalil. So, I am defending not defending any poor behavior from any actor. I merely looked at the story from more than one angle.

Muqaw is an intelligent member and he’s one of the few mods that I like and respect. He doesn’t need to go into hiding because he can hold his own. There is no need you for you to instigate drama when there is none, TS. It’s actually my fault because I got unnecessarily testy in my response to him and will edit it.
