I have read the story of khubsoorat on Wiki and it doesn't seem that Rakesh Roshan's role was a strong one; Rekha was the lead. I have read that Fawad Khan wants roles that are different from the saas-bahu drama and the stuck between two women roles. That said I wish he had a stronger role in B'wood.

I am curious as to how the Indian audience will respond to him. He is so much more talented than SRK and Salman And Aamir even. I know that Fawad Khan is not the most handsome guy in the world...but he is attractive....and I think the charm in his smile. He has a Mona Lisa smile...that closed mouth smile of his where it appears that he's pleasantly amused by a secret which only he knows and you want to find out, lol. He gets into the skin of the character and his delivery is natural and so are his gestures...be it scratching his forehead...or crossing his arms....it just flows, MA. I'm not sure why I feel this way....but I didn't care at all when others like Imran Abbas, Ali Zafar, Adnan Sami, Atif Aslam went to Bollywood....I didn't care. For some reason, I don't want Fawad to go to B'wood....I feel like he's ours. On the other hand, I wanna see him make the Khans and Kapoors squirm a bit.

Original film was a comedy film.

He was brilliant in Akbari Asghari, which was a comedy.

And I'm not a fan of the over-the-top, slapstick variety of humor found in Indian movies. It is anything but humor.

Saw bits of that drama...did not like it....as for him cant say coz cant remember his acting. But he is not comedy material to me.

Massive exaggeration from you redvelvet... Aamir Khan is the real deal. There is no way anybody can claim to be more talented or a better actor than him. He is the Robert Di Nero of South Asia.

I have always been an Aamir fan and I believe he is more talented than the other two khans....but I find a naturalness in Fawad's nuances that I at times don't see in Aamir's. Anyhow to each his own.

Most remakes suck, so I hope this news isn’t true. It would an epic waste of talent for Fawad Khan. Sonam Kapoor, no matter how cute she is, has a long ways to go as far as acting is concerned.

Fawad is way too much popular in Pakistan itself. So him going beyond borders definitely had him taken by money or hmmm what else can be the reason… :what:

I know! Much as I prefer him to the rest of the Khans Aamir Khan always comes across as trying too hard to appear restrained and method like which is a welcome change in the hamfest that is bollywood but does not necessarily equal great acting. I respect his choice of roles, his stance on social issues etc but he is definitely a bigger star than an actor. IMO someone like Sanjay Dutt is just not credited enough for successfully reinventing himself throughout his troubled career and the ease with which he gets into the skin of his characters be it comedy, tragedy, drama or gangster type roles without necessarily resorting to gimmickery like change in hairstyles, facial hair etc a la Aamir.

If it's really true, I'm excited!!! India should know what talent Pakistan has and what a charming actor Fawad is. It will be awesome to see him in a Bollywood film!
